I just finished a Duque, and I am rather impressed. Anyone know a bit more of these? I have never seen these offered elsewhere, yet they are fantastic, at least to my expectations. Are they in circulation or just a CI special?

Earl, Yes, I believe I speak for all of the participants on this forum when I say we all have a little experience with this. This is not something exclusive to Cb users, and to be honest, I am suprised you have only now had your first one. But, yes I agree, they can be very satisfying, but I don't feel it is proper to discuss any more details than that.... A more appropriate forum for information might be your doctors office. Congratulations on your new discovery, Earl. perhaps you should eat more fibre?

Ken - I bought a bundle of the big mommas (8x52) a while back and I like them a lot. They are a CI brand made by the Oliva family in Nicaragua. The binder and filler is all Nic tobac and the wrapper is Sumatra. I smoked about half the bundle and decided to put the rest down for six months to see how they develop. I haven't tried the robustos but I hear they are real A S S Kickers.

yeah, I recently got a five pack of Duque robustos, and as my students might say, they rock! First non Cuban I have found that comes close to the Bolivars. bold and strong like a shot of espresso. definitely a 'wow' cigar. i can't figure out which I prefer, Duque or Dark Skark.

Interesting. I never tried Dark Shark before. I guess I'll have to keep an eye open for them. Have you tried El Mejor? It's also made by the Olivas but it's a Nic puro. There are some robustos up for auction right now. I prefer the Churchill, myself.
