Well I got Rob's 5er, or rather, a 4er. 'Hm, ok 4 sticks, it better be damn good!' I say to myself. Ya cheap bastid! I begin to read the note:

Enjoy the smokes and welcome to the community...Let's see if your tastes have developed.
- Por Larranaga PC - Nov 2008
- SCdIH La Punta - March 2008
- Unbanded - Tatuaje Verocu #5 (a current favorite)
- La Riqueza #5 (also a favorite, from my first box purchase)

Ok, let's see these 4 smokes. Boy he sure put in a lot of padding, what is that, cotton?

Lifing the note, I am greeted by a CI smily hat, with the 4 sticks. Ok, well done. I like the hat. Let's get rid of all this packing...cotton. I lift what I presume to be the "padding." I was mistaken. It turned out to be a baller CI shirt. But the sure felt heavy, and was rather thick. So I opened it up to reveal a V cutter. And a humidifier. And a punch cutter. And a 8fl oz Cigar Juice. Wow. At this point I want no more. This is already too much to take.

So what the hell is all this crap under all this stuff? Oh you know 26 cigars, no big deal. FML.

-5 Vegas Limitada 2008, 2009, 2010 (any significant differences?)
-5 Vegas Cask Strength
-CAO Italia
-CAO Brazilia (what's the difference?)
-2 Arganese robustos
-1 Viaje (YESSSSS finally I get to try this. What is this?)
-Torano Exodus
-Torano Fortress
-Torano Signature (heard great things about Torano's and this especially. Thoughts on each? What's your fav?)
-Torano 1916 Cameroon
-Cusano 18yr
-Aurora 1495
-LFD Cabinet? (Thank god for the no chisel tip. I almost threw up the last time I had one)
-Carrillo Short run (what is this?)
-Greycliff DE (I had one from BMW/Chris. I think these are great. Thanks so much ya bastid)
-Rocky Patel Old World Reserve (what's this one like?)
-Perdomo Vintage (always wanted to try the Perdomo. So awesome. Thanks you lush.)
-Padron Really Long (I donno)
-Bolivar somethin. What year? OMFG I'm so pumped.
-Por Lanarraga (can't wait to try this. what is this?)
-San Cristobal de Habana (what is that!)
-AF Reserva Xtra Viejo Anejo. Holy crap, I did drool on this one. What year you azzhat. is this what they call the dark shark?
-The unbanded Tat
-MF Le Bijiu (I'm definitely lighting this one up right now.)
-Don Pepper Cuban Classic (thanks for the pepper bomb you bastid)
-La Riqueza (never had this. Really interested)
-Red **** (Tatuaje pepperspray)

What did I ever do you you huh?! I go into the fight weighing in at lightweight class, and BOOM! Heavyweight Tyson at his prime. How am I supposed to get up and fire back from this hit. Wadda hell is the matter with you. ARRRG You just wait you lush. Gimme like 3 months and I'm going to cropdust all over your house...just wait...

But seriously, Rob, this is amazing. I love the variety, and I've been wanting to try 25 of these sticks (yes I hate Don Pepper you bastids). I can't thank you enough for sponsoring this n00bler. I will cheers you as I smoke these sticks and further refine my palate.

Yeah, 4 plus 26 is the 30... Lets see...

5V Limitada series is different blend/wrapper each year and a different maker. They trying to keep same size. 2008 is about oh, depends, 3rd or so favorite for most from the Limitadas, the 2010 some say is as good or could be on of the Limitadas best with a little age.

CAO Italia and Brazilia are different wrappers.. the mothership gives good descriptions, just start going with the brands and explore.

The Red Tubo.. try it in a month or so after you had the AF Shark, The Padron Mad, forget what vitola.. the exodus, the Brazilia

EPC Short Run is a current favorite, from Ernesto Perez Carrilo (founder of La Gloria Cubana) son. A limited release, been very consistant for me. I picked up some of the regular line The Core just the other day, haven't smoked one yet

I think the Torano Fortress will be a good start or the Torano 1916 for your profile... Exodus and Signatures are good, just depends on mood.

The LFD is a Cameroon Cabinet, should fit your profile and is not a nic bomb like the Chisel can be.

Enjoy my noob, and this is your noob bomb, you abided by the rules and sent me 5 sticks.. awesome sticks, some the better ones i've seen from a noob. There is no need for hitting back, since we are square. You sent a 5er and I sent a noob trade 5er. Ask anyone if it's even, and all will say yes!

Marc, yes, I do... LFD holds a sentimental spot with my too.. with being good sticks also!

I think you're going about the right way of sampling them smokes, sounds like a good start. When you get to the purdy ones.. just remember, more you enjoy a nice smoke, the more you know what to get when you buy. I dont think I touched a single one yet that you gave me.. they were a pretty nice 5er.. that Cohiba seems so lonely, but so purdy too... the Opus are big and little brother, tough to have them part. Just enjoy them I guess!

I'm finding out more and more that the CT wrappers are getting really uninteresting for me. Started really liking maduros now - that Arganese was a good intro. I had an Ashton maduro and Monte media noche this week, and thought they were great. Gotta find a WOAM to try now.

ps-I am still scared of touching anything LFD.

You're going to get into LFD and Pepper soon enough!

That LFD I sent you oughta be a good start though..
