Woke up this morning, did the whole coffee and smoke session. This time french market coffee out of New Orleans instead of the usual Community brand. Went with something a little diff. Usually I like a potent smoke in the morning, today I went with RP edge lite. It was good, as most things RP makes are. But for the pre-lunch smoke I went with something i've never had, Man-o-War. Looks like about a Rothchilde/Robusto vitola, just says "man o' war" on the band with a roman style helmet of some sort. I like it, not as good as a Tat. But still nicely done, makes me wonder how the ruination i've got cooking is going to do.

I haven't had Community Coffee in years. It was my Grandpa's favorite and he brewed it by the gallons.

I switch 'em up, but almost always my coffee is out of New Orleans and has chicory in it.

I miss LA in general. When I was younger, I would spend my summers there driving shrimp from the coast up to Kanas City. Good times...

Its too bad its been pretty messed up as of late. Katrina obviously did a number on the area and them the oil spill to boot. I stayed about 2 1/2 years after Katrina and decided to move. They were planting 10K$ palm trees on Canal by the dozen yet couldn't afford to clean up the outlaying areas. It was total mismanagement on the part of officials. Standard of living was bad, cost of living is high. I had to get out of there, I miss it thought, theres alot of culture there.

Cool....You just want the regular coffee, the chicory one, dark roast, maybe a sampler?

I understand really, I like to get stuff in the mail, my fiance makes fun of me for it cause I want to be home for the mail everyday. We'll be out and i'll be like "lets go, its almost time for the mail to run". She thinks I have some kind of mail fetish. LOL, its worse if I have fed-ex or UPS coming! LOL maybe I do have a mail fetish! Figure its one good thing the fed's do for me!

We can do a "Sampler for Sampler" trade. What kind of sticks do you like?

Well I was just sitting here typing a description of my taste, but really man I just like a good smoke. I can appreciate all diff. types of wrappers, diff. nationalities of fillers, and sizes/vitola. I have been wanting to try Camacho SLR Maduro and the Siglo line, but really go ahead and make it a surprise. PM your addy and i'll prolly be able to get it out in the next day or 2.
