Postman just arrived with a special package. He had to back his truck up to my garage and use his lift gate.... Man, there's some good stuff here! I'm as excited about some of the bonus sticks as I am for the regular cigars. Some tough choices. Rob, my first grab would've been the Mac Maduro, my recent favorite, but I already have a few; in fact, if it's okay, I added one of mine also. MY TAKES: Punch Gran Cru, Brent's mystery cigar he promises is a HdM Excalibur (nat. wrapper), Romeo y Julieta Vintage #1, and (sorry guys, THANKS Rob) Perdomo La Tradicion Cabinet. MY ADDS: (It's a good day for a maduro!) Hoyo de Monterrey Excalibur Box-Pressed Toro Maduro, Macanudo Prince Phillip Maduro, JR Ultimate Corona Double-Maduro, and Mayorga Box-Pressed Toro Maduro. HEY BILL--the Flor del Todos just got in today--THANKS! I'm sending you a JR Ultimate dbl-maduro to try out--one of my favorites. The cigar pallet-pass is headed to Jim today!

Man, It's times like this I wish I were going next! Ahh, maduros, my favorite! It sounds like the quality of the passes are indeed on the up and up. FYI, just received in the mail a new Fuente cigar compliments of the Cigar Connoissuer's Club, a new LaUnica Torpedo #1, a Cuban seed Dominican with a Cameroon wrapper that has 5 years of age to it. for those of you not signed up, go to www.cigarfamily.com, for this and other freebies. Have a good one guys!.....Brent

Jim, I'm glad to hear I added something that grabbed your interest. I noticed you added some really fine stuff. Rob, just as I would have, snagged most of it. You ought to have the box in a couple of days; it left here this afternoon by Priority mail. Hey Brent, how long did it take you to receive your Fuente club freebie? Is this the Newman (sp?) cigar club? I joined it about three weeks ago and have yet to receive anything.

Hey, I got mine. Nice looking cigar! Nice smell too! I was impressed, can't wait to try it. Mine took about a month I guess. Patience Gentlemen, Patience. I wonder what else i'll get out of this except on about 1000 bloody mailing lists!

(re: freebie cigar club) Well, my freebie DID come in! Did yours, Jim? This isn't the Cuesta Rey I was supposed to get upon joining, but La Unica's newest cigar, the Cameroon Series, the Torpedo #1. The info that came with the cigar says it won't even be released until late August. I agree with Mark, it DOES look good. Thanks again goes to Rob--he's the one that turned most of us on to this Newman Cigar Club.

The box is on its way to Brent. He should have it by Sat. or Mon. on the outside. That is of course if mail does get delivered DAILY in Maine;) You never know! I saw a thing on the tube about mailmen in the Bayou that deliver mail in these little outboard boats. Heck, as far as I know they may still have pony express in Maine! Gonna take a pretty big horse though.

Hey guys,
Just arrived home from vacation in the awesome State of Maine. How's everything going? Anything new I should know about? I see Mark got my address so I'll check the Post Office on Monday, it should be there. BTW, this was the last vacation for my wife and I so, there shouldn't be any hold-ups with the box. Actually, I think I've done ok so far. Had a terrific Opus X again on my last night there, after a GREAT lobster dinner. Man, they have the best lobster in the world! Hope all you guys are well. I've missed everyone ........Brent
