Why would anyone want their wife to smoke cigars? It'd be like kissing an ashtray.

Always amazed by this statement. Don't want the wife smoking cigars because you don't want to “kiss an ashtray”, but yet you wish the wife to have have mad passionate sex with you after you're done smoking a couple with a few favorite alcoholic beverages??? Who's kissing the “ashtray” then???

tljones1961 wrote:
Why would anyone want their wife to smoke cigars? Besides - do you REALLY want to sit on the deck with a scotch, a cigar AND your wife?

My wife enjoys a cigar now and then. Her tastes may not be the same as mine. But who else would I want to smoke and have a drink with other than my best friend???

Guess I'm just fortunate and grateful that we can enjoy a smoke together.

I agree with you on that one, unlike most of these guys I say if she doesn’t want to smoke then don't bi*ch to for wanting to, and if she dose want to smoke just stay away from my T52's lol... no I think just like any man that smokes cigars women to will unwind and become more relaxed, and every man knows it’s true no matter how big a game you want to talk, if your wife or your women is happy and relaxed then its a good day for every on.

Tell me again why I want to do this?

I would have to build a "her" humi so I don't have those nasty things smelling up my cigars.
My cigar budget becomes divided.
My "me time" is cut down.

Hmmm...

My wife isn't totally against cigars. In fact, she's tried her fair share. In the past, she's uttered the words "I love the smell, they're just so nasty and taste like smoke!"

I eventually bought her come cigarillo's.

I'm guessing that type of cigar/cigarillo sells real well in San Fran. Whistle

No disrespect queen, it's just that my wife already has her own expensive hobbies outside of smoking, and I'd like to keep it that way. The flip side she would be more acceptable to not getting mad when I spend 1-3 hours herfing with buddies if she got to participate

None taken - I was just teasing! To each his own, however... you're on track about her having more patience with it if she is participating. Also, you will probably end up with more in the humi if she develops an interest!

5) You can't teach a lady the finer points of cigar smoking (training the palette, the in-n-outs of cigars) right away, it takes time.
6) Only delve into training after you have the heated space, and mix random points into a cigar into your deep conversation.

This will lead you into a fortress of cigar smoking solitude.

Somehow I get the impression that he's teaching his wife something other than cigar smoking.

Just replace cigar whilst another noun......

and smoking whilst another action verb.

It's fun !!!!

There are hundreds of combinations.

I will continue to pray for her.

been married more than 31 years, and my DOW and I will be retiring within next few years, so we'll be spending a lot of quality time together. We each need our own pursuits, away from the other, or the homicide rate will go up in our town. I enjoy fishing, biking and cigars and am happy to go solo, though those activities are fun in the company of bros.

Glad I didn't see this thread the first time around.

There is nothing I like more then sitting back and enjoying a nice cigar while the husband relaxes and enjoys one also. Whether we sit outside in silence listening to the radio or kick back in the Man Cave out in the garage. It's time together with my best friend. I miss those times. He still gets to go herf and go out and have his alone time also. I used to go to the herfs also, but I have scaled back on that with being preggers. Heck I was even an Admin and Moderator at Cigar forums for years.

And it gets better. I buy him cigars all the time. And I enjoy it! Heck I found and bought him his cabinet humidor. I love finding certain cigars he can't and surprising him with them.

I won't apologize for it either. Shame on you

There are pluses to getting your lady into cigars. You'll have a better chance of having a indoor smoking lounge and not freezing your butt off out doors... I think couples need a common interest other then the kids Dance, workout, cooking and ect it will make life alot better in the long run..

Nothing wrong with enjoying your spouses company regardless of the activity. That's not the point. lol

The point is, is that this guy is talking about his wife-girlfriend, or whatever she is, like she is a helpless lost puppy that he rescued from the SPCA. And is training her so he can mold her into the best pet she can be. Then maybe she can get a biscuit for doing her trick right. lol

I bet she folds his underwear just perfectly like a good maid should. If not, rest assure, her bro whilst teach her the finer points of creasing his drawers so his skid marks don't show. lol

Why on Earth would anyone want to share how to better train your wife to do anything. lol

Think about it and whilst discover how pityful this is. lol

I whilst cotinue to pray for her well-being and hope she learns her tricks quickly so she doesn't get whacked in the nose with a rolled up newspaper too many times. lol

I am sorry. Maybe it was just me but I didn't read it that way. I read it as he was trying to spend more time with his wife doing something they could both enjoy and other BOTL ripping on him for allowing her to intrude on "man" time.

Have you ever really known a submissive? My guess is not, and not like that makes you a bad guy or something, but many subs like to be trained and given menial tasks to do for their dom. I kid you not, it makes them feel complete. Perhaps that is the relationship that mr2324jgf has with his wife? I think it's also what wheel alludes to. Don't knock it just because you don't understand it. Lotta different type of peeps in this world.....

My dear wife (of 3 months) will sometimes puff on a flavored cigar or try whatever I'm smoking. Right now she is lounging on the couch with the dog, thumbing through a French-English dictionary. I'm pretty sure she's happy that I am outside leaving her alone.

First,
I don't even know what the kcuf you're talking about.

Second,
I don't give a flying kcuf what kind of relationship anyone has with their spouse. Nor do I ponder the rationale of, or do I want to know, submissives and dominates. Nor am I knocking something you claim I don't understand. I don't care.

Third,
I simply think it's bizarre why he would post a thread advertising how wonderful he thinks he is because he trained his wife the difficult and grueling tasks of how to smoke cigars. Then assume that the folks on this board would embrace him and honor him like a guru because of his breakthrough discovery and remarkable wizardry.
I challange you to find a more self-serving, pompous, and kcuf-ed up post on these forums.

Last,
Yes there are a lotta different peeps in the world. In this case, maybe one too many.........lol

Hey, there wasn't any offense intended toward you on my part , I tried to add some levity by saying it doesn't make you a bad guy if you don't understand a type of relationship which seems foreign to you and is in fact foreign to most people. I guess I failed in that, my apologies.
