So what's the scoop on these cigars? Has anyone tried them yet?

looks like it. Special projects: a new term for limited editions+contrived scarcity+higher price point = more profits. Common blue print/business model in the industry.

Actually, it's a common blue print in every industry. If every brand came in at the same price, you're merely cannibalizing your own product. It's common sense. Fortunately, AJ releases a wide range of brands with a wide range of prices. Some new products come in lower, some come in higher. Look at the Little Devil.....it's a box of 20 for a great price. You can't look at one product and gain the whole picture, you have to look at the entire body of work.

A co-worker of mine bought some and I smoked one last night. It was pretty decent. Had a lot of sweetness to it.

Do you remember which one it was, or which size?

didn't mean any offense, just stating the obvious. Getting banned for awhile may actually be a good thing, allowing me to save up to buy other stuff besides cigars. Looking at the poll about number of cigars on hand tells me "I got a problem." And you started it with your vet smackdown!?!

Delta, you can push the blame on your vet if you wish but you found us. We didn't go out looking for cigar addicts. Hope you are having fun with your new cigars. The best part is they get better every year.

Interestingly, that's the one that least interested me after seeing a review of it. The reviewer said that it was pretty much a pepper bomb in the first and final third, with a little less in the middle third. I don't mind pepper, but I'd rather it not be the core flavor.

If you got banned, it would be a ban from posting and not from buying. It's part of the business model.
