Fox & Friends: How Ironic That Barack Obama ‘Dined And Dashed’ This Week
You might remember that, earlier this week, President Barack Obama joked about inheriting a massive deficit from Republicans. “It’s like somebody goes to a restaurant, orders a big steak dinner, a martini and all that stuff, then just as you’re sitting down they leave and accuse you of running up the tab,” he’d told a laughing audience at a fundraising event in Baltimore.
On Friday, Fox & Friends noted that the President’s joke was rather ironic given that he’d “dined and dashed” that very week.

“And how ironic,” noted host Steve Doocy, “that during that same calendar week, the President of the United States actually, in appears, did dine and dash right there at Kenny’s BBQ on Capitol Hill.”
“By the way,” added Brian Kilmeade, “it cost him $55, but they did pay for it.”
Does the President — any president — really just pull out his wallet and pay for meals, though? Or does he get someone on his staff to take care of that? In any case, now I’m in the mood for some BBQ. And a martini.
