Mule Kick - Thanks to JNichols.. Got this in a PIB he sent me. Should've let it sleep a bit longer but I couldn't help myself. Thanks, Jim!

Room 101 Namakubi thanks to DCLover! Got it when he picked up my list in the PIB thread. I'm about half way through it as I type this. This is the 2nd time I've had one of these and I really like it, it has a really nice gentle retrohale. The cigar has a nice spicy pepper bite with a bit of a sweet aftertaste that I can't really place. But, as I said the retrohale is very smooth and gentle and gives you that sweet taste with none of the spice or pepper. I don't know how they pulled this off, usually if a cigar has a bite to it the retrohale will clear out your sinuses like a flamethrower but this cigar does the opposite. Makes me want to retrohale with every inhale and I have to mentally keep telling myself to slow down or I'll wind up smoking it to fast and overheat the cigar. Definitely adding this to my list of "must buy a box". Thanks again DCLover this is a really nice smoke!

Great cigar. One of my favorite from Room 101. I agree with your assessment. It's definitely unique in the way you described.

I MIGHT have put one of these in your package, Greg.... I guess you MIGHT have an extra to dispose of now.... BUT I DIDN'T KNOW YOU ALREADY HAD A BUNCH!!! Strike one..

It was a nice smoke! It's actually the 4th cigar out of the 8 you sent me that I've enjoyed and I use the punch you sent along every day! I burned the JdN Antaño first and the Master Blends 2 and My Father Lounge not long after, every one was great and I can't wait to burn the last 4. I owe you now and you just never know when I'll hit...heh!

It was a pib! No return fire on pibs, unless wombat decides to hit you with 20 or so (like he did to me). Then it's ok. Nice to know you're enjoying them!!!

The ratzilla made the #9 I just finished a bit of a letdown. Disclaimer: never been a huge 9 fan, gimme a T52.

Look for the Southern Tier Choklat, Jeremy. Better than the Foothills & more readily available.

I'm at the nub of an AWESOME Padron 64 thanks to Carls7069. I don't know how old it is but i can tell it has some age on it and it was a really relaxing smoke. Everyone is in bed, my kids bought me this really cool salt lamp that I have lit up and I've got some relaxing jazz playing. I just leaned back, closed my eyes and enjoyed a quiet relaxing night all thanks to Carls7069. Please bomb Carls7069, I would really appreciate it!

glad you enjoyed it, and that these will be a regular line, can't wait for the smaller vitola's. Also good to know I'm learning and have at least a decent palate, helps me learn as well, thanks, my friend

The short rest (3-4 months) seems to have taken any of the anise/licorice/quinine taste that was there right at first upon lighting/1st third

Guido099. Brought me a Cohiba Maduro (by request) back from his Dominican vacation about 2 years back. Typically, the burn is terrible (3 touch-ups so far) & the draw tighter than I prefer, but the flavor is awesome. My favorite of the few Cubans I enjoy. Thanks Chris!

The bourbon was very nice, it is a small batch they did for Oppermans in Sag. MI. ( a fine wine n booze shop w/ a small walk in.) there were only so many bottles and I was fortunate to have goten one. Whichever Illusione that was it really was very nice....thanks again

Smoking an Illuione Singulare 2010 courtesy of my noob shadowcam. First cigar of the day after a couple of breakfast tacos. Wonderfully smooth with a great flavor. What an outstanding cigar to start off the day!
