PMS Delta. I didn't get as many as a wheel, he's not selling em that way now. I did get 5 5er's though and expect them next week... The Donkey is pretty laid back. LOL! Purchase or trades, ok with me for you and Campage.

Ok. I haven't put up my review yet cause its very boring. The stick didn't have many transitions. By reading the review you may think it wasn't very enjoyable. That couldn't be further from the truth. It was a very enjoyable smoke. Just not a lot of dif flavors. I didn't want to start adding stuff to make it interesting. So here goes.
Also I typed this up while I was working, lol! Probably should have set down and smoked it but I couldn't wait.

Construction- very firm. No soft spots. Packed VERY tight worried about draw

Wrapper smell- very sweet tobacco with that barn smell

Pre light draw- very earthy. Mellow sweet tobacco.

First third.  Surprisingly no draw problems.
mellow medium body. Nice draw.
Not a lot of flavors but nice dry chocolate and cocoa.
End of first third mellow chocolate & earth
Retrohale- mild pepper earth. . No burn in nose

Only big transition so far is a little before half way point.  Very , very deep earthiness takes over.  Leaving a dry feeling on the tongue.  Almost bland but pleasant.
Good smoke production. Second third has been simular to the first with more earth.
Past halfway point and getting into the final third i get some strong coffee taking over.  Very little flavors and changes still.

Final 3rd has picked up a lot. Strength, flavor and pepper really started coming out. A lot of cigars kick up a notch in the final third but this one was a little more then normal.  A lot more flaverful and great taste!  I Actually keep getting a cuban type flavor creeping in that I've never been able to name.

Paired with Water

??? ( I would guess 3x3 Corona ) ???

I would definatly smoke this again

I could be waaaaay off but I kept thinking to myself that this cigar has some good age on it. I'm probably wrong an it's fresh rolled! Lol. But It just had that mellow aged taste to it and I kept thinking that's why the flavors weren't very pronounced but the cigar was still do good. And very smooth and had a seamless transition from flavor to flavor. That's a characteristic I usually notice with aged cigars or ones that have been resting for a little while. Doesn't make for a good review but does make for a great smoke!

Thanks again wombat for including me in the pass and for the mystery stick. I just packed a CC and will send it to Belue to add to the pass.

THANKS WOMBAT!

I wanted to say aged but didn't want to look like an idiot when he said he just bought it. So the word rested I thought would kinda cover my azz.

Boxed laded yesterday.

Thanks Wombat for the review stick. Thanks everyone else for the others!!

I'll be looking over the others to figure out what I'd like to take. Looks like I wont get to change but maybe 1 CC for the couple I do have right now are already in the box. The Magnum 50 looks yummy but maybe next time.

Anyone know how rare the Viaje Friends and Family is? An which Skull an Bones the torpedo is? That AF Magnum looks good as well!

And not easy to get.

Let's give this review a try. Not something I do a lot other than in my own personal notes.

Construction- Well constructed and tightly wrapped (possible tight draw?)

Wrapper- Connecticut wrapper, looks like going to be mild smoke

Pre light draw- Completely Earthy taste! Draw is very nice, a little resistance but not easy.

Burn- Brunt excellent! Straight on from beginning to when I put it down

Flavor- The first 1/3 had very earthy notes, with hints of leather, and possible spots of cream here and there. Certainly not a smoke I would be excited about at the beginning. Lets see how it develops.

Has a nice palate finish and very smooth smoke so far.

About the 1/2 way mark. Still a hardy earthy flavor. Very limited flavor, nothing changed thus far.

Little passed the 1/2 point and the stick is hitting a very bitter note. Will give it just a bit to see if it gets better.

Almost to the last third and have to put it down. The bitterness has over taken the stick. Very few hints of earth and no cream or leather now.

Overall- Nice looking stick. Constructed well and tightly rolled. Plenty smoke from the stick and a nice aroma. Felt good in the hand, good sized (larger corona). The stick certainly wouldn't be on my list to smoke again. If you were a earthy stick kinda person then this stick would be for you. A long nap might help this stick but not enough for my profile.

Total: 6/10

Paired with: Miller 64

*My guess AVO Signature*

**I switched out the current medium flat rate box with a fresh new one. This one had been treated pretty rough. Also tomorrow is Presidents Day so it will fly out Tuesday.

Alright you impatient ho's, I pulled the stick out right after work and smoked it in the shed, hidden from the wind (and later rain).

Pairing - water.

Prelight- stick looks and smells good. Good size, didn't measure but maybe 50rg ish and between 5 and 6 inches, not too big for cool weather. Soft around the foot, and a couple of places that look like they may be problematic as it smokes, but probably from shipping, not construction. Oily medium-dark wrapper with some spots that glisten, like they used a little extra pectin. Quick cut aggravated one of those trouble spots, but nothing I couldn't work with.

Burn- Good burn throughout, one side got a little ahead of the other in the 2nd, but not enough to touch up. Left a nice gray ash they held on an inch easy. Nice draw, though the small crack at the head had to be tended to keep the draw. Never needed to be relit, which considering, was quite nice.

Flavor - 1st third started strong, with some pepper on the back of the tongue. A lot of spicy on the retro. Pepper started to heat up, then cooled down and allowed some leather to come through.
2nd - As the pepper continues to fade, the leather gets stronger and brings some wood tones, maybe oak? Not positive on which, just that there is wood behind the leather. Had to slow down a little as the strength started to make itself known. Spice is fading on the retro, but still there.
3rd - Still leather and wood, pepper is gone and spice continues to fade (or else my palate is getting more and more used to it). Pretty strong cigar, never really lost its kick, but never overwhelming either (looking at you fausto).

Overall - It was definitely a quality cigar, but the head starting to unravel made me fight with it for a bit, and it completely split and shredded on the final 3rd, though it remained quite smokable. Probably a little stronger than I would have preferred (or at least I would have eaten dinner beforehand). It didn't transition a whole lot- but kept a very linear path, starting with quite a lot of spice that fading into strong leather tones with some wood. If that fits your profile, you'll really enjoy this stick. I'm pretty critical with my reviews, so it may not sound like it, but I did really enjoy this cigar. In spite of the issues, smoked it until it got a little too hot to hold.

On a true 1 to 10, I would give this a 7. If it had stayed together, maybe an 8.5.

Reminded me of the La Bomba.

Thanks again wombat, I really enjoyed it!

Awesome, in retrospect, the extra pectin on the wrapper was probably where they glued down the "fuse", which had been removed (or else it would have been a dead giveaway). Also might have caused some of the issues with staying together.
