I HAVE SEVERAL CIGARS THAT HAVE GOTTEN DRY ON THE END AND HAVE A TENDENSY TO CRACK WHEN I TOUCH THEM. IS THERE ANY THING THAT I CAN DO TO FIX THEM. MY HUMIDOR IS REGISTERING 70 AND 70 ON A DIG SCALE.

Then don't touch 'em. Also you might want to use a hygrometer rather than a scale.

Those digital units are only so accurate. If you thing they are getting a bit dry, get a jar humidor and charge the credo. Put your sticks in there for about 2 weeks. That should remoisten the wrappers. Replace in your normal 'dor. Also use a 50/50 pg solution. Water alone evaporates way too fast.

Sorry for the smart ass answer....Sometimes, especially with the Connecticut or other thinner wrappers, the re-humidifying process will take longer. Often it does take longer than one might think to re-condition them after shipping. Also, some wrappers are just paper thin and hopeless. This happens on rare samples of good brands as well as cheaper ones. I do not use the 50/50 solution in my smaller 'dors as I find it imparts a certain odor. It is usefull in the bigger ones though. Try a jar....that is good advice. The trick is to make the transfer gradual. Remember, an airtight jar will take far less maintenance (i.e. humidification) to maintain a 70% humidity than wood or larger-area 'dor.
