just a question for the pipe smokers,

Are the pipe tobaccos you are smoking just a blend of different tobacco or are they infused to create the different profiles?

Aromatics are infused. I don't smoke aromatics.

155 5100 red cake, wow best bowl yet, not sure if its just that this has been such a joy to smoke or the nice mellow flavor with the sweetness in the background

Very tasty and one of the few blends that contain latakia that I like.Reminds me of a good cigar....complex,toasty and rich as ten foot up a bulls azz.

I assume its tongue bite cause that's what it feels like, I'll try the rinse

Generally speaking if you have issues keeping it lit is the tobacco too wet and or packed too firm?

It could be either but u can tell pretty easy by the draw if its packed too tight. Too loose can affect it too. Sometime u have to tamp the embers down to burn the rest of the baccy.

But with the sounds of it its just little moist combination of tongue bite and relits. Get any gurgling?
