A few weeks ago one of the contestants sent me a PM and asked if he could back out of SS this year due to family/financial problems. Of course I let him out (even though names were drawn and tagets were acquired). Instead of trying to find a new participant last minute, or someone missing out all together, I decided it was easiest if I just stepped into the vacant slot instead.

Well, that was my mistake because I knew who my Santa was, and he doesnt play well with others! Dharbolt decided to smack me with 10 lbs of goodies. The mail lady was not happy at all!

I will try and get the details out this evening if possible.

I just wanted to publicly say that although he is new to Secret Santa, he sure hits like he has been around awhile!

Thanks

Got my SS package today. The smokes were sent to OpFTH as I requested (Big Thanks on this) but they also mistakenly sent me a Cohiba Hat, two Tervis Tumblers (love these!!), a Miami Dolphin's Shot Glass and bottle opener (hopefully this will be the little thing to get them to the playoffs this year), a Havana Club T-shirt, a couple of I-tunes gift cards. I hope I didn't leave anything out as I'm doing this from memory (which is never very good).

Really just too much. I'll get a picture posted this evening.

Thank you Santa!! Herfing

An innocent looking package was on my porch when I got home from work. It wasn't so innocent when I opened it up. What a nice bunch of cigars.

I will properly post damages after dinner. And I need to figure out who is from Oregon.

I forgot the Key Lime Cookies from the Hemingway House in Key West. I didn't forget them after dinner tonight. Yum. One of the Tervis Tumblers was also from Key West "90 Miles to Cuba Southernmost Point" and the other is a "Joint Interagency Tack Force South" tumbler. Love these a lot. Thanks again!!

Pretty much a no brainer. I don't think there is another from here and I can't go far enough to mask the zip code. So, I just embraced that it would be a give away. Btw, Joint Interagency Task Force South is where I work.

Looking at the avatars for everyone.....I think that I have figured out who my "Oregon" based Secret Santa is.

Thanks for including the decoder to the cigars....here it goes.
FFP (oh yeah)
2x Candy Canes
5xLFD Chiselitos (I love a small ring, small cigar)
Fuente Fuente OpusX Perfecxion X (nh, heard good things about it)
La Aurora 100 Anos Lancero
LP UF-13
Viaje WLP 50/50 Red
2xIllisione Ultra
Viage Friends and Family
2x Firecracker(never had, never seen....cool looking little suckers)
2x LFD Factory Press 2 (just got my end of a split of 10, can't wait to try these)
2x LFD Small Batch 4
2x H.Upmann Mag 46's from '08 CC
and 1 Donkey Dropping

Pretty sure that I just got a smakin' from Dr Smac.

thank you very much.
David.
