I just got a new humidor and used the Boveda packet for the first time. I have to say these are amazing. It registers a perfect 65 on my digital hygrometer. The question I have is for my other humidor. I have been using the Black Ice pie jar. There is a constant high humidity reading. I have been opening the humidor daily to bring down the humidity. Do you think I should just take out the pie jar and put in 2 Boveda packets in instead? I have a 300 capacity humidor.

Is it a digital hygrometer in humidor #2?
And ditch the jar, they can effect taste in your cigars. Stick with the Boveda or go with beads.
If your looking for something cheaper private message cacman and ask him about kitty litter.

Stored in the same temps?
Like I said dump the jar. I would buy heartfelt 65% rh beads myself.

Exquisicat and Boveda packs are the only way to go.
This guy really knows what he's talking about. He's a sciengineerologist. He graduated from the same place that makes the shoe gels for obese people to feel like they're walking on fake fishing worms.
