I had 13 of the OR lanceros in my humidor that I just gave away for free since I was not a huge fan.

Actually OR Old World Reserve's were a great cigar.I think the dye thing was something going on with the Maduro.Haven't had one in years but back in 07 or 08 they were extremely good. This and the OR Edge Sumatra are really the only RP smokes I ever enjoyed.

Been a long time, but I smoked my share of OWR Corojo lances. Pretty good, IIRC.

Yup!

I bought a box when they first came out and that is how many I had left.

Didn't even know these were available as lanceros.

Seems like every online shop in America was 'dumping' these for around $80/bx about 4 or 5 years ago. Then they disappeared.

Had to do some diggin'.... (I saw the abbreviations thread was topped). ;-)

OR = Original Release for those like me that can't remember the 42,000 abbreviations for stuff.

Blink

Not sure when I got these. They are Corojos.

I just thought I had seen or read a review somewhere about how good these were. Maybe not.

Huh

you probably did, but it was probably in reference to the OR, which - from what I understand - have not been available for many years... the ones you got from cbid won't taste anything like them...
