I usually like full-flavored mild blends. This one reminded me of Macanudo. If you don't like Macanudo, you won't like Varina Farms. To me it had little flavor. Check that--NO flavor. if you just want to look cool by smoking a cigar, this might be right up your alley.

I've had a couple of these.

I found them to be very mild and one dimensional, but, they were well constructed, had decent flavor, and they burned flawlessly with a nice white ash.

Not a bad smoke, tho light in body and flavor, I prefer them over any Sosa I've tried. I wouldn't order a pallet of them tho.

I have had both the Breakfast Blend and the Winter Warmer. I prefer the Winter Warmer Blend. It is a mild to medium smoke with good taste. The Breakfast Blend is a milder smoke. Overall not a bad smoke for the price.

Here's my review:

Varina Farms Breakfast Blend Churchill 7.2x54 cbid Aug-14
Overall rating: 6
Price paid with shipping: 2.16
Well made, easy draw. Med body. Very pleasant earthy tobacco flavor. Wish for a corona size.
Worth $2 in my book.

I personally like the regular Sosa with my morning coffee. It is mild to medium and is consistent with some good flavor to it, and can be had on CBid for less than $10 per 5 pack, usually much less. BTW, when talking Gonz about taste it is spelled "palate", not pallet (a wooden base upon which stacks of cases are stored)...too many people make that mistake!

So much early potential. Coulda joined the Grammar Police Dept. and patrolled the forum looking for violations.
