So I was getting ready to put my box of spectre up for trade ( had a kentucky fire cured and WTF?

Why don't you just try and get whoever you bought them from to take them back and give you a refund or trade rather than foisting them on an unsuspecting noob???? Shame on you

For BOTB, they're an okay alternative to get that latakia fix when a briar is not convenient. They're definitely stinky, so they should be kept separate from other smokes.

I actually requested to someone tossing s pair of them out to send them to me so I could see just how bad they messed up my namesake. they were pretty awful alright, but I am collecting them for aging to see if they ever get better. A few years sleep might make them mildy terrible instead off downright awful. Pm me a price for the box.d'oh!

I am in the middle of making a trade with a fellow member. I will let you know if that changes. So nobody knows why these are not listed at 2 of the affiliated sites any more?

If I read the post correctly, one of the posters inferred that these cigars contain Latakia tobacco. This type of tobacco is usually only used by pipe smokers who do not care for aromatics. You'll find it in most English pipe tobaccos. If you're not used to Latakia, it will taste awful in a cigar and no amount of aging will correct it. In point of fact, there are many pipe smokers who hate it. Think
