I saw this video about some rich dude smoking a $47,000 cigar while wearing a striped suit inside a cigar humidor. Several things struck me immediately.First of all; who is this azzhole? Nowhere is his name mentioned or what he does. While we are on the topic, who the hell smokes a cigar in a humidor in the first place? And what is the name of the cigar and who makes it? Why is it "worth" $47,000 in the first place? And IF this is for real, can anyone send me a box? Sarcasm

Aged cubans supposedly.........VERY RARE.......but is it worth it? If you got millions and want one why not. A friend of mine is a wine connoisseur who has drank $10,000 bottles of wine with a collector friend. He admits that in a blind test it is difficult for anyone to pick out a $300 bottle of wine from a $10,000 bottle of wine. Yes, there is a difference between a $300 bottle and a $20 bottle but he says there is not any reason to pay more than $300 unless it is for collectible value.

And yes, what is he doing smoking in the humidor??????Just for show.....probably puts it out after the camera feed and it probably wasn't one of the real ones. Most of these will never be smoked and resold at $60,000 a few years from now!

30 some years ago, my Father-in-Law actually served "The Dog" at the big family Thanksgiving dinner.
He had no clue.
When one of my brother-in-laws enlightened him about it, he just said,
"Hell kid, I just saw SWEET CONCORD GRAPE WINE on the label and thought it looked good."
To this day, when the family gets together for a family function, the question is always asked,
"So who's bringing the MD 20/20 ?"

I'll bet there are millions in third world countries that feel that way about you as well, even if you are only smoking a $2 cigar. It's all relative I guess.

He doesn't smoke and is lucky to have a friend who is a wine collector that has no heirs and decided to drink up his collection of rare wine before he dies.

How much tax do you think will solve the problem? Do we raise taxes until people don't have enough to buy stupid stuff?

What about the poverty level kid that spends $200 on a pair of shoes. Should we tax him more too so he doesn't buy stupid stuff too?.

I want to be on the panel that decides what is stupid and what is not and we can have a stupid excise tax for really stupid products. Give things the STUPID seal of approval. And send me the money....I know how to spend it properly.
