A conversation on the book of faces regarding discontinued cigars (Cupido, LA 100 Anos) got me thinking about the annual releases of the Torano Tribute. When did they last release one and are they going to release more?

I still have a couple from 2008, 2009, and I may have a 2010.

I wonder why he they stopped producing them?

I believe there were 3 releases total.

2003, a natural, 22 in a box
2004, a maduro, 22 in a box
2008, don't remember the wrapper color and number of cigars in a box.

Not sure about 2009 and 2010.

Update:2008 has a dark wrapper, a Brazilian Mata Fina. As with the 2003 and 2004 release, each box contains 22 cigars.

Because of impending sell out to General Cigar?
