Smoked one last night. Wasn't sure what I would be in for with all these fire cured and barrel aged cigars being a mixed bag lately. This one was good. Not an overpowering flavor and maybe a bit underwhelming in that category but a great entrant into this cigar arena.

what size did ya partake off? Plan on buying the 3 size variety sampler for $29 soon. The only two ring sizes are 50 and 60, which would seem to be a huge difference in filler tobaccos possibly changing the flavor one way or the other. Think

As a fan of the 5 Vegas Cask Strength I was super pumped to try this. Had a toro as It was the most comparable size.

It wasn't bad. I mean, it wasn't what I expected I definitely expected it to be smokier and with more of an oaky taste to it like the Cask Strength.

Still good though. I just wished it was more... Casky

Very curious about this as I've been going through a Camacho phase.

Yea, I am in a "Camacho" phase also, the owner of my local has promised me a few samples of the barrel aged. So far, I have tried and liked, the Corojo, Corojo Maduro, Criollo, Ecuador, and the triple maduro.

Did not care for the Blackout.

Yea,Yea, I know....all you FOGs, the older ones were much better, etc, blah, blah, blah, lol

Just saying I like the new Camacho line!

Nothing wrong with the new line - except it is not the same as the OR, and they are using the same names to identify the cigars. Isn't that a common gripe on these boards? - don't use the same name if it is not the same cigar.

The original release Camacho corojo had so much more flavor and intensity. You would enjoy the cigar tremendously and did not realize its power until you tried to stand - and you had wobbly legs because it was that potent. Just an outstanding rich tasting cigar. They smoked like a CC Cohiba Esplendido every time.

I wonder if they are selling more of the new line. If so it was a right decision from a business standpoint. I agree they should change the name if changing blend and maybe keep both like new coke and coke classic.

Yep, I'm a VERY vocal FOG of the Camacho of oldfog
But, having some of the new corojos that napped for a year they do show some decent qualities. Not a big on aging cigars either but after some time was surprised.

Blackout is very good. The thinner ring seemed to taste better. Similar to la Herencia Cubana Core, Pueblo Dominicano, Alec Bradley Vice Press, & Rocky Patel Platinum and Nimmy-D
