Tesa is a staple. They sell their own brand. Some good sticks.

Not a friendly cigar city overall

We are staying kinda south side of Chicago (Alsip) but will drive anywhere in the city for good cigars. I am with a friend from there. He knows all the bars and restaurants.

Tuck, not too many cigar bars left downtowm .... I'll send you a PM on a couple of good smoke shops.

As for restaurants, I like The Rosebud on Rush for Italian. Lots of good chop houses downtown. Chicago Cut is great but very pricy.

There's a place by me named John's, I'd say his combo is better.
There are certainly a number of better places spread around the city.
Never had the combo from Mr. Beef, but I seem to remember liking their beef sandwiches.

Its really a matter of taste. And can be the subject of some serious debate Personally, I am a big fan of Portillo's and make sure to get a sandwich when ever I come into the chicago area.

Yes the Sledn's do! Zach always gets extra crispy french fries from there. I LOVEEEE their Chicken Breast salads. So good!

Their burgers are good so are their beef sandwiches.

Portillos, Johnnies, Al's. Love them all. But I usually point new visitors to Portillos based their numerous locations.
