I got boxes early on that I regretted....BUT...that wasn't all a bad thing, I suppose. Provided me with bomb/trade bait...and some of those regrets turned around after I buried them for a few years. At any rate, nobody here can tell you that you're going to like a specific box of cigars.
If you'd asked, "What $150 box of NC cigars should I get?", we'd have all told you that we can't tell you what you should get....well, not all of us...there's always plenty who will tell you what you should like.
What do we have to work with? What Cuban cigars have you tried and liked so far?
This, well put.
What are your nc preferences as well, sometimes that can give an idea of strength you may desire at least. Over the last few years I did as D put it and bought boxes as well. I've not been sorry, and have a variety of flavors to choose from and enjoy as they progress in age, as well as gift.
Let your taste buds decide, not the price of the cigar. I actually enjoy a couple of machine mades that are cheap, one note flavor bombs.
