I don't have much AB experience but I've had a few of their American Sungrown robustos from a local B&M and like them. Never see any here though. Does anyone who's smoked the American Sungrown know of any AB sticks that might share their characteristics?

Thanks

Wunky, you need to try a Fuente then.

Yup and yup. That's the direction I was trying to send him.

Those are 'spensive, guys!

The funky thing about the AB Sungrown is that its MSRP is only $5-6 (I get them at the B&M for $5.50, and it ain't a cheap B&M) and I can never find any discount online. One of the few I've seen where they don't inflate the MSRP and then discount them to make you think you're getting a "deal."

The AB American sungrown is good, cheap and easy to find. I haven't had one in a while but were my fav AB. Like those AF Magnum 44 and 858 SG and have enjoyed those a lot most recently.

Thanks for the replies, I ended up splurging at the CI site and getting fivers of both A. Fuente Sungrown and A. Bradley Sungrown in robusto size. With judicious coupon use it came to just over four bucks a stick, shipped. Gonna be able to compare them. Thanks for the recommendations!
