Great Santa drop on my house!!! Way more then expected.

Sad news, had one casualty of travel. A bottle of whiskey that I really wanted to try broke in transit.

If you happen to be on TMobile, I just upgraded my phone and I'd be happy to send you my old Android.

I tried dragging tiger to the modern age, I have no issues continuing the trend.

Technology and I don't get along very well, I wish I still had a rotary phone. Yeah, I have a landline still too.

A few months ago, I got rid of my Lotus 123 book since I hadn't referenced it for a couple years.

That's a bummer about the whisky casualty. I will raise a glass in memorial to the lost souls of the cask.

You're not going to tell us how bad you were or what you got?

Hey, I resemble that slackers remark. I shipped mine awhile ago to my target, but it got hung up in transit for some reason... USPS at it's finest. I tracked mine and from what it shows all should be ok unless they're lying.

I'm not good with puzzle/charades games, but ll venture a guess once I receive mine.

I think my Secret Santa is Corey Sellers. Based on the John Deere license plate and the faint logo on his profile pic.

It was an awesome hit and the Rum is so, so good!

I'm a female entertainment specialist from the sleazy side of town. Just getting home from work this AM, it was a tough shift last night. Christmas spirit my azz, the holidays make people cheapskates.

I looked up those pirate gold cigars, makes me wonder what you did to piss off your secret santa. Maybe the real Santa will bring you something nice for Christmas. I'll keep my fingers crossed for ya.

Secret Santa dropped an amazing package on my porch today. There were two bottles of "Not Your Father's Root Beer" by Small Town Brewery, in La Crosse WI. Mouth already watering...

There were two bags stuffed full of great cigars. Some of these cigars I've had and enjoyed, a few have been on my "gotta try" list, and one I thought was gone forever.
One bag was stuffed with top tier lanceros. I don't know why some people don't like them, but I find that they often produce the strongest flavor profile of that particular line:

- Cain F
- Headley Grange
- Illusione HL dark
- Liga Privada L40
- La Palina Goldie Laguito Especial (can't wait)

The other bag was filled with a wonderful assortment, a true connoiseur's delight:

- Davidoff Nicaragua En Tubo (can't wait)
- Fuente Don Carlos,? not sure because the size doesn't match any listed, but the Gran Reserva band with the black background and wide gold stripe on the bottom looks like a DC. Can't find others pictured with a red cloth foot band either
- La Aurora Preferido 1903 Sapphire, hope it's as good as it's siblings: I've had the Gold, Ruby and Emerald
- La Flor Dominicana Mystery
- Litto Gomez Diez Oriental 2009
- Tatuaje Verocu RED TUBE!!!! (never thought I'd see one of these...and drooling after sniffing it and thinking about tasting it)

Santa went long and hard to put this collection of fantastic cigars together... I am extremely grateful and fortunate to have drawn soundta (sounds like Santa if you say it fast) as my Secret Santa for Christmas 2015. The clue was the IL return address with a city within driving distance of his hometown. Also, knowing that he's a Tat ho helped...prolly the only one on our list of players who could've pulled out the Red Tube Verocu. It's going to be hard deciding which two smokes to pair with the bottles of Root Beer ale. Thank you very much , Jerry!!!

Well I thought it was you or Nnightmar, looks like I went the wrong way or am just wwwaayyy off. thank you Nnightmar, I really am taken aback by your gift.

I even had my wife comment that she is glad she didn't get me any cigars because she couldn't compete with that and was shock that it was all from one person.

Alright, so after going through all of the contents of my Secret Santa’s box, here is the full inventory of the awesome contents:

Bottle of The Elmer T. Lee bourbon – one of my favorite bourbons but super hard to find in Hawaii
Insulated Green Bay Packers mug – Go Pack Go!
Green Bay Packers gnome Christmas ornament – already hanging on our tree

Those items alone would have sent me to 7th Heaven but NOOOOOO, my Secret Santa had to smack me down with 20 wonderful, top grade smokes:

Arturo Fuente Anejo #77 Shark – one of my Top 5 favorites
Arturo Fuente Magnum R44 – ditto
Arturo Fuente Opus X Fuente Fuente – nh
Arturo Fuente Opus X Lost City Piramide – nh
Arturo Fuente Opus X Perfecxion No. 77 Shark – what da! - nh
Arturo Fuente Opus X Perfecxion X – nh
Arturo Fuente Opus X Reserva D’ Chateau – nh
Avo Maduro Robusto – nh
Casa Mombacho Tierra Volcan Fino Long Corona – nh (…and never knew existed…)
Diamond Crown Maximus No. 4 - nh
Drew Estate UF-13 – nh
2x Hirochi Robaina Sublime – nh – excited to try - one to smoke now, one to stash for later
2x Litto Gomez Small Batch VI – nh – very excited to try – see above
RoMa Craft Cromagnon Anthropology - nh
San Cristobal Clasico – nh
Tatuaje 7th Capa – love Tats!
Tatuaje Novell Reserva – love Tats, especially love the Reserva line
Warped El Oso Papa – nh

Super over-the-top cigars that I will thoroughly enjoy, especially if my retirement plans in the next couple of years come to fruition.

Santa also wrote a very nice letter with small hints as to his identity but when I initially read it, was too overcome with shock over the box contents to catch them. However, when I got home and had a chance to fully check the contents, found something that tipped me to his whereabouts. My mystery Santa used some LA Times newspaper to act as packing material. Hmm, I know someone in LA that’s in the pass…. I then re-read the letter and those subtle hints now became evident:

“…but I find it impossible to look at, touch, let alone acquire, anything with the St. Louis Cardinals on it.”

Yeah, I’m a St. Louis fan and the BOTL I started to suspect does live in Los Angeles and is a Dodgers fan so given the Cardinals recent mastery over LA in the playoffs, that line made perfect sense.

But the hint that finally sealed it:

“Your Uniquely Greek Secret Santa”

Greek? No, the guy I was thinking about ain’t Greek, in fact, he’s Asian like me…but wait…his CBid handle has Greek overtones. So that it's it! Without a doubt it’s gotta be the one and only Delta1. I then contacted Mr. Delta and he did confirm his red suit and beard identity.

Thank you again Al. Very, very generous of you and you truly made my Christmas one to remember.

And mahalos to TZ for putting this together. Really enjoyed participating in this.

Yeah Ben, it was me! I'm so sorry that bottle of Texas Crown got broken in transit. I had that package secure and bubble wrapped like mad. I thought "noway is the post office going to break anything in this package". I guess they took that as a challenge, efn idiots! I hope nothing else got ruined. I'm sure the box smelt great when you opened it.

I'll make it up to you. Trust me, I was more disappointed than you that it was that bottle that broke! It's a great whiskey. Anyway, yes I'm a movie buff and Tombstone is one of my Top 10 westerns of all time.

Merry Christmas and enjoy brother!

^ #94 Merry Christmas Palama!!! Just a little something to reward you for all the cheer you spread throughout this community over the years. That Elmer T. Lee was nowhere to be found here in L.A.'s liquor emporiums. Had to go to an obscure liquor store in Ventura to get a bottle. Evidently, it is hard to find everywhere. The package should have gotten to you a few days earlier, but somehow it got shipped first to Alaska!!! TZ thought that Santa couldn't find any either and wanted a couple of sips...
