Resting 18 months....
Smoked one at 6 months......nothing special, typical AJ MoW cigar...lots of leather, a bit of bitter chocolate, a hint of spice, a few burn issues........forgettable....
Smoked a second one today...........reminded me that some AJ cigars really shine with extended rest.
First third started with heavy leather, bitter chocolate and some spice.
Second third added some fruit/floral notes, with the leather backing off, still had blasts of bitter chocolate and hints of black coffee.
Last third really ramped up in strength, with leather and darkish tobacco notes taking over, with a bit of bitter chocolate being the main flavor notes.
I was somewhat sad the fruity/floral notes left, but overall, a very nice smoke.
Glad I have several more of these well rested side projects.
Carry on........and happy new year ya bunch of azzhats!
