Is there a way to check how much a specific package or lot has closed at in previous auctions? In other words, is there a way to monitor trends in cigarbid prices for specific items?

After a search of STFW and then actually STFW I feel pretty dumb. I can't wait til I'm an expert so I can sh*t on noobs all day night. It must be fun. Hazing is really a lost American pastime.

Don't bother with that part... only the douches do that.

But for the love of God, don't knock hazing, alright!! My 20 years in the Navy were filled with it, and those were GOOD TIMES!

Just takes time and watching lots you're interested in. Pretty soon you'll know off hand what a lot should sell for.

When I was watching more actively it wasn't uncommon for me to be watching 40-50 items. Now I watch <10 on average.

You should be able to check your own history, prior bids, whether you won or lost.... ?!!! You can watch anything,,,then check the closing $$$.... Good luck....Bid to win,,,,,,,,,,even if you bid more you will win on next increment,,,,not always your max bid...

Thanks for the response. It seems like my winning bids vanish but my losing bids remain. Perhaps just lowball some to build a losing list to watch. I was really interested to see how cigar prices vary over the years, what happens when they gain popularity, and if auctions ever go crazy low because everybody was busy or something.

No sarcasm here on hazing. I really do wish hazing was more prevalent. It is a lot of fun and builds character and respect. What can we do about the pussification of America though?

Sloppy is good for med to longer term history, and sometimes more recent lots.
Google is your friend for recent lots..........100 days or less.
There are no shortcuts to obtaining Level 12 in the DP Newell Academy of Stealth Bidding and Sniping.
Pay your dues...........seek wisdom.............as a noob you should know to NEVER lose a bid...........
When you get to level 6, after a few dozen overbids, and a few thousand dollars, you'll start to get some deals.

RIP DP........

I always have that problem when the in-laws come in too, almost like they're alien or something.

Type in what you're looking for. I entered My Father as an example.

There is only one basic rule you must follow when bidding on a item here. And that is to know the retail price of the item before hand so that way you can bid on items and not pay for more than its worth.

But in the event you overbid feel free to Frying pan yourself.

BWAHAHAHAHAHA!

I think this is a comical thread and shows the same sorts of things that have been happening around here for quite awhile, now. King of the Cove is still trying to promote bravery in bidding, LOL, only we now have DP, who has had to return as his wife, MRsDP. That's about right for these days, since a man that was once on a wheaties box as an Olympic champion has become a woman!!!!

Start popping the corn, LOL
