Maybe they are new to the website, and based on the photo, believed they were bidding on a box.

$144.50 on the muddaship. Now bidding above retail all thanks to Cigar Assinfectionado.

http://www.cigarbid.com/...ijou-1922-churchill-23/

Still below retail but twice as much as what they used to sell for on here. Yup that settles it I hate Cigar Assinfectionado

Not even close. More than I'd pay, but a great cigar for less than CI prices

What a discussion of cigars can do to prices. These were going for $ 20 and under and now: http://www.cigarbid.com/...aduro-robusto-20-cigars/

Let me see if I understand this. People spent $99.00 - $101.00 for a fiver they could have picked up on Quickbid for $46.50? Did I get that correct???

Yes, but since the auction has closed we don't really know if there was more than 1 unit offered at the quick buy price. Despite that, seeing that someone actually bought one for $46.50, why would people bid over twice as much ?

This has got to be a big mistake: http://www.cigarbid.com/...t-blend-robusto-single/

7 units@ $ 21 - somebody thinks it was boxes and not singles.

But . . . "After extensive post-roll aging, each vitola serves up a soothing, creamy bouquet issuing hints of oak, toast, sweet tobacco, coffee, pepper, and a long sweetness on the finish. Mellow yet eventful, and a high quality handmade you can burn daily, knowing exactly what you're going to get from one tasty cigar to the next."

How can 7 of them not be worth $147?

Not sure I understand what you're getting at. The average price / box is $34.88?

I'm with you. It's less than $1.00 a cigar. Unless you don't like the cigar or they are all dog rockets, it's a steal. There are guys out there who like Gurkha and Dark Shark.

Really not that good of a cigar, truth be told.

I'm confused! Think Whenever items go on specials people love to overpay! This is the latest example, they usually go anywhere from $25-$31 yet bid is at $35. (Not a crazy overbid but still over)Brick wall

I've noticed that too and every time I've bid on a "special" I have been outbid. The starting bid tends to be high in most cases as well.

He had to have populated the incorrect box. All I can think is he wanted to max out at $37.

Please, post your initials and where you are from so we can help ensure you win more auctions at a price above what you would pay at CI.
