I stopped at the little AAFES store after lunch today... and when I got home... this somehow managed to get in the grocery bag... and yeah, it's on the receipt, $33.90.

I never buy liquor Beer . But I've seen a lot people talking about this and other liquors on cigar forums and then... there it was sitting there on the little shelf at the little store on our little island... next to some Gentleman Jack.

Problem is, I only smoke cigars at the Vets Hall. And we don't allow 'outside' liquor to be brought in... But, hey, I figure it doesn't matter when I stop in after work at midnight and no one is there. Angel And my beer tab is usually 3 or 4 hundred dollars by the time I pay it. So...

Now I need to look into getting a little travel flask that will fit in my little soft sided 6-pack cooler I use for carrying my cigars and cigar doodads and rain jacket around in. Any suggestions?

Cool

The little AAFES doesn't have small flasks for sale alongside the whiskeys? In a pinch I bought an inexpensive bottle of some off-brand whiskey, drank some, dumped the rest and used that to get partial bottles of better stuff home from trips. I think they average 180-200 ML (formerly pints?)

YMMV-

My suggestion is that you PM your address to me so the lack of a suitable portable container for your Woodford can be corrected. Herfing

I hope to finally get around to this at the Vets Hall patio after work tonight at midnight. I washed out the new flask and now ready to go.

I brought along a Blanco Nine Lancero, a Liga Privada L40, and a little Tatuaje Verocu.

Not sure how much Woodford I poured into the flask. My first pouring and I was just about to head out to work.

Last night was the full moon, and tonight's not bad either.

Herfing

Edit: Oh, and it's 80.6 degrees, 65% RH, wind gusting to 28!! and partly cloudy.

Good bourbon but like it best with one ice cube. It is a bit more spicy than most so the water helps mellow it out.
