A quick suggestion... change the title of the post to read "Rocky Mountain Cigar Festival" before the mods delete the thread. This has happened in the past because CBid has trademarked the term "Fest".

I'll be there.

Trying to gage if I can get a kitchen pass for the weekend. It is about nine hours from OKC.

Any good hotels...by good, I mean cheap.

If you're staying at the Omni, book as soon as possible. It sold-out pretty quickly last year as many stay Fri & Sat.

I called the Hilltop Inn which is about a half mile away from the Omni, I stayed there last year and is a pretty decent placed, cooked to order breakfast, Old English style , they have a bar and restaurant, I talked to the guy he said if we had a few people staying together he would charge $109 per night, and he said we could smoke on the patio after they close the food down, and he might be able to work something out. There's about 15-20 rooms.

Let me know

I think I am going to buy my ticket tonight. Don't know if I want to just get the social to the gem admission. If I do the social I can then pick the cigars I want to buy.

Any thoughts from the crowd?

I think most of us get the social ticket, I wouldn't smoke but 1or 2 of the ones for the Gen admission, but you can always send them to the troops.

And you can but a few there, LFD always has some for the event and you can always stand in line with the fan boys and have Johnny sign you some , I got some manifestos last year, but XLT got me in line at the last minute.

Oh yeah and Cacman likes the DE swag

Phffft!!!
I bought the General ticket. Believe it also comes with more drink tickets than the social. You'll need to booze to deal with the hoyty-toyty VIP ticket holders.

Have also volunteered to help set-up and work the CFW booth in the morning. So stop by, see Jonathan Drew and Willy Herrera, get some swag, enter the raffle, and support the troops.

Been doing it that way so the wifey has a place in Boulder close to shopping while I'm out. Usually comes with better amenities and cheaper also.

Dig the AirBnB option. How far away from the event hotel is the property? Is it far to drive? Driving after the event is my big concern. Taxi service in Boulder is limited, and sucks.

This time it's about a 10 minute drive for me. There were some in south Boulder that would be very close probably within 1-2 miles.
