Hello Folks from Mary Esther, FL. I wanted to jump on to say hi and hope to live up to the expectations of another new guy who doesn't know what he's talking about. Intro Huh? Well, I had my first cigar at the same time I had my first good drunk and both came shortly after I joined the Army in 1971. I liked them so well, I still drink, smoke, and retired from the Army in 1994. Until lately, I made all my cigar purchases from local shops and no even one of them said anything about online auctions. And it was not until Jan this year that I got so serious as to smoke one a day. That's when I jumped in with both eyes shut. I'm up to three humidors that share about 5 five mixed boxes of Fuente Cuban Coronas, Flor de Las Antillas, Inch by EP, 601 Steel, and R&J Real. Different sizes and strengths depending on the mood or time open to smoke. I'm doing my part in helping hold down the price on the big dollar cigars for the rich folks out there. These posts has been an interesting read full of good information and insights. If we meed out on the auction floor, I wont snipe or run up the bid on you. In my life, I've been shot at and missed a few times and sh*t at and hit 100 times. I don't cuss, respect women, and only fear my wife and God. It all makes me want to get off here for a corona and follow it up tonight with a churchill or toro with a double shot of gentleman jack. But then, why wait, I'm retired. In closing, no one wants to hear any advise from a Noob so just a reminder. When lighting your cigar, always light the end further away from your face. If you must relight one, make sure it was one of yours. And be careful where you stick your cigars, the life you save may be your own.

Welcome aboard! Learn the search function, join the noob trade, look up Thonginator and watch out for Jaderose. He's the guy who's not even decent enough for a reacharound.

Thanks for the welcome. The beach is nice except for spring break and summer when we try to stay out of the way of crowds. The Army was an honor, a chance to see a lot of strange and distant places. I passed on the Navy, thought if the motor stopped, I could always get out and walk. Can't do that on the water. Pancake guy here especially if you toss in a few blueberries. Also been thinking about the name, parasite almost sounds to good for me. Maybe fungus sucker. I'll check out the trade section and after going through the older threads, try to pick your brains on a few questions about cigars. I'll ask in a different post tomorrow but what I'm looking into is this so called cigar sick time from age 3mo to 1yr. Going to check and see if it's already been discussed on here. Thanks again folks.
