Local B&M was tossing this box, so I took it and made it into a little valet dish for my bedside table. Cut the top down a little so it would fit inside the box, glued in some risers made of scrap cedar that my great-grandfather had left in the shop many years back. Now the lid rests at a decent height for keys, wallet, rings, etc. Plus, I put a brass knob on the lid so I can pull it out easily, which means I can use the area under the lid for SOOOOOOPER secret storage. Don't tell anyone...

Not normally a woodwork kinda guy, it isn't perfect and the box was already in sub-par shape, but I'm happy with it. Nat Sherman was the first brand I smoked, I like their Timeless, so it is a nice little thing to use.

Basically, yes. Lots of steel rings. I'll post a photo if I have one.
