Is there anyway we can get threads like these deleted? There's a clear customer service process in place with 9-5est phone service. Threads like these are kind of a nuisance for the folks who love this site and the forums.

Btw nice one maddvibe

ZRX, just an observation, I don't see where he blamed CBID for the weather. I see where he faulted them for not shipping with humidification. My JR orders come with a Boveda, most B&Ms will drop one in, Even RyJ is now putting them in their tins. Perhaps your suggestion that AZ commit an impossible act of self impregnation was rather unwarranted?

Having similar issue with my shipment. Eight full days baking in the 100 degree temps with zero humidification. I am so glad we are buying a product impacted by heat and humidity and CBID feels it necessary to screw us. If we are bidding on items do us all a favor and sent it in 3 days and also with humidity pillow or something to save the product. And for all the blowhards in here who say rest the cigar you know what, I should not have to rest my cigars a month or more and pray they are ok, I am paying for a product and that product is fresh tasty cigars not dry sticks void of flavor. I totally agree with this post, you are held hostage to stupid rules and stupid outdated shipping methods. I can assure you the owner of CI is not smoking this trash, his are nice and fresh as they are supposed to be for all of us.
Nice fail CBID, considering I buy a ton of cigars my money can float elsewhere because your methods stink.

Cheers

A week sitting around in 100 degree weather? Don't be such a drama queen Nancy. Unless you live so far out in the middle of BF Eygpt that Abdullah has to hike across the Himalayas to deliver your cigars they aren't sitting for a week in 100 degree weather. Worse case scenario they spend 3 days in transit and get delivered by the fourth day. If you had half a brain you would have them shipped USPS priority mail and get them in 2 days. Problem solved. As far as not wanting to smoke tasteless cigars, then quit buying $1 smokes expecting them to have an Opus flavor profile.

Oh and one last thing, don't let the door hit you on your way out. You won't be missed.

(Disclaimer: I've bought well over 2000 cigars for here and have never once received an unsmokable cigar.)

For one, nobody said I was leaving. Two, where do you get off being a prick like that? Your time of the month, NANCY?
Such a well-mannered ambassador, and so clearly possessed of sparkling intellect. Pretty sure ZRX can speak for himself, turbo. I pointed out the flaw in his less-than-polite response, plain and simple. You wanna be a jackass, whatever. Hero? My ass...

usafvet.....read the rules, no competitor references.

He did blame cbid, he didn't mention ANYONE ELSE for his troubles. He doesn't have USPS priority or he would have them already. Also, they keep them at 70% rh which is high enough to account for transit, boveda packs are only really necessary for COLD WEATHER when they actually lose RH% dumbschit.

So let's review:

He KNOWS HE LIVES IN THE ARMPIT OF THE SOUTHWEST.

ORDERS CIGARS DURING THE HOTTEST TIME OF THE YEAR.

Dumb as a bag of hammers.

Dumbschit? Wow, another genius. Gee, I thought Boveda was a 2 way system, as in putting out AND taking in humidity.

Y'know, it's sterling fellows like y'all that do us as a community of enthusiasts ZERO favors. Have to throw those insults in, don't ya? Can't be civil, can ya?

Do you understand how a boveda system works? It's a saltwater based system that is 2-Way. They are set to a relative humidity via a stabilizing agent. If the bag is set to 65% if will release moisture up to 65% if the RH is above 65% then the salt will do its job and absorb moisture until the molecules are saturated (meaning a fully recharged bag) or until the RH equals 65%.

I failed Chemistry twice and I still understand the basic concept. You've got to be the dumbest man alive if you believe a boveda is gonna dry out your smokes.

If you have not noticed these forums are full of little old men with low self esteem who sit around all day with zero lives waiting to bash anyone not in their click. Thank you for being understanding and also seeing my point. It is nice to see someone with class respond verse the little children in here who feel they cannot speak up to their wife so they have to take that anger out on us Men who are Men not little boys with zero voice.

Cheers

This guy comes to this forum for the sole purpose of crying like a little girl, then accuses it's members of not being manly enough?

Wow, when did the millennials start smoking cigars?

Classy? Really you honestly say that when almost everyone in here posted abusive and insulting comments towards me. I never said a single word about a person in here until I was verbally attacked for a valid issue. So please save me on class when there is zero class in here only little boys who sit and slam people all day.

I have to ask, do you guys get auto notice to your phones then jump in to insult anyone not your buddy? You want respect well then give it and you will get it back. Not a hard thing to understand. If you don't like lumps then I suggest you tell your fellow posters that bashing and verbally insulting someone without a clue as to anything is probably the wrong road head down, easy to insult from a computer but I bet face to face mouths would remain shut. Keyboard warriors are funny bunch of sissies.

Cheers.

Grow some nuts and quit whining.

Oh, and if it's a face to face you want, I'm in Baton Rouge, LA. Post a message when you get here and we can arrange that face to face. I'd love to meet you.

You have been here 1.5 yeas or so, and you haven't figured out that this place is basically 5th grade with cigars?
That's on you...

You come in and complain about shipping issues (legitimate concern) and start talking about how your cigars will lose oils, not taste right, yada, yada........to this buncha azzhats? many of whom know more about cigars than you or I ever will, and you expect them to be what?...........sympathetic?...........outraged?..........thankful for your insights?
That's on you....

You respond to your inevitable, and justifiable beat down, with even more whining?
Sorry, but that's on you too....

It's deja vu......................all over again.

Keyboard warrior from AZ here...

All I said was that you come on here just to cry... I would tell you to quit crying IRL too.

Though I'm not going to go out of my way to do it.
