I wish!
But instead:

7;15am PST

Number of Jaime Garcia lots up for auction = 0
Number of My Father lots up for auction = 3 (and nothing special btw)

The weakest selection since I've been monitoring this place.

Think

Aberration?
Or, a peak into what's ahead?

Similar numbers with a few other favs...
sad

I've noticed that too.

Looks like the JG reserva especial came out in about 2010. Clocks ticking on these.

After noticing that the Jaime Garcia reserva especial cigars also will be affected by the pending FDA legislation here is the letter I sent to my senator

My letter to my senator

Dear Senator Moran,

I'm writing you today over my concern about the FDAs over reach into the premium cigar industry. In this day and age of endless emails, smart phones, and being in constant contact with everyone all the time the simple pleasure of a fine hand rolled premium cigar is a welcome escape from the fast pace that the world today demands.

Please, look into why cigars brought to market before 2007 are to be exempt while cigars brought to market after 2007 are subject to FDA approval?

The cost of seeking this FDA approval has been widely speculated, but the truth is that small cigar companies known as "boutique" cigar makers are the ones who will suffer from this FDA regulation. Many will not be able to afford to seek approval for each cigar blend. This FDA regulation is on par with every diner in the country being required to submit each item on their menu for FDA approval!!! It's outrageous and absurd to think of that but that's exactly what's being asked of the premium cigar industry.

This pending FDA regulation will put people out of work in this country. It will have the same effect but will be much more exaggerated south of our border in Mexico, Central and South America. Doing this will put even more strain on the fragile economies of countries that rely on tobacco as an export commodity and push even more desperate people to our southern border.

I propose that the purpose of the federal government is ultimately not to micromanage every aspect of life in the United States of America. There's much more at stake of being negatively affected by this regulation then there are positives that will come of this. I truly think this deserves your attention and I look forward to your reply.

Thank you for your time,
Anthony

Yeah.......been waiting for that to pop up again.
I will stock up myself........had a 1 year old Rob last night, and every time I smoke one, I think to myself.........dang, I need to get more...................4 boxes isn't enough.

And now that they're on death row?
Not sure the Garcias will want to pay to get these approved........but I hope so!
Maybe they'll just do one or two vitolas?

I don't think they will go away because of the fda may just get a nice shiny new holy sh** price tag.

I was thinking just a line had to get approval not every vitola within the line? Figured that is why Tatuaje released all those blacks in new vitolas.

You're probably right, but for some reason I thought it was every vitola, because I remember thinking how absurd it was.

I just assumed so not sure now that you mention it the other way, that would be even worse though if it were every vitola
