A Little Pile Of Tobacco

Been playing around with smoking a pipe, had some of the tobacco that the local sells. Didn't like the flavored stuff, and thought the rest of it was too light tasting, so I decided to get myself an early birthday gift. Ordered a few ounces of tobacco and a couple extra corn cobs to enjoy them in. There's Brown Bogie and Dark Bird's Eye from Gawith & Hogarth, as well as some straight Perique from McClelland.

The Brown Bogie is especially nice, even though it looks like cat crap. (Rope tobacco isn't the prettiest presentation.)

The light tobaccos probably won't appeal to many of you folks, but all three of these are on the strong end of pipe tobacco and I found them quite tasty. Suggest giving them a shot.

Never smoked rolled/roped tobacco (had to be careful with the wording there....)

Do you cut it and rub it out?

Sheesh, anyway to avoid a double entendre today?

Just slice off the tip and rub it till it seems right.

It was really easy to prep, with or without double entendre.

Oh wow, seriously? The closest I came was reading all the reviews from the few others who have tried it.

It smokes like a spicy, bold cigar. Not too scary!
