My door was blown clean off the hinges today by one of Santa's Helpers in Maine. A giant box chock full of goodies. All I could make out was the first name, Donald. What an amazing package!!! We'll start off with the not-cigars:

Allagash White Beer
Ellen's Coffee Stout
Ishmael Rising Tide
A giant bottle of MAINE PURE Amber Maple Syrup
Captain Mowatt's Blue Flame and Scarlet Blaze
Main Wild Blueberry Jam
MOXIE soda
Black Sheep Ice Mold
K Hansotia Tactical Tanto

If that wasn't enough, Don sent along some very fine smokes:

Emilio Cavatina Toro
Osok Perfecto?

Robustos:
Sevillana Reserva
La Palina Mr. Sam
Black Label Santa Muerte
Herederos Robaina
Fratello
Nomad Therapy Habano
Black Label Ctrl Alt Delicious
Kentucky Fire Cured Hamhock

As if it wasn't enough, he also sent along a box of Tatuaje Pudgy Monsters. Surprisingly these were cigars I wanted to get last year for Christmas but never did.

To say the least this was an outstanding gift. The syrup and jam will go a long way over the winter and I'm intregued by the grilling sauces. Will get to try them out this weekend when I'm out at my buddy's camphouse for our once a year stag get together.

Thanks Don! Not sure who you are but Merry Christmas!

I've never had any beer from Maine so I'm looking forward to them. Maybe it'll rekindle a dormant interest in craft beer. I've been on a Miller/Coors kick for about two years now after a mix of homebrewing and hitting every little beer fest between San Antonio and Mobile wrecked my palate.

Oh and I forgot. He also sent earrings made out of moose chit. Not sure who will apreciate them more my girlfriend or my sister. One thing is certain, someone will get a good laugh.

Madspackler - I think I was just so excited that I posted in the first thing I saw that said "pics."

No worries. Glad you got smacked around well by Santa. Great looking stuff in the picture. Can certainly understand being excited.

Not often that we get truly surprised at Christmas time as we get older. Wonderful to see that level of enthusiasm for having your porch blown to bits. Your Santa is certainly smiling.

That Moxie Stuff is delicious. With crushed Ice it's like a Pimm's Cup minus alcohol.
