I cracked open a box of Davidoff Monarcas, from early 2013. it contains Jamastran corojo wrapper, binder & filler.
And yet, despite the homogenous blend, I got sweet cedar and other dryish wood notes, hints of raisin/dried fruit, and a bit of pepper during the first 1/3. Very creamy finish.
Wonderfully smooth retrohale, copious smoke output, perfect burn and draw, and it still packs a bit of a punch.
If you have any lying around, they're ready.
Carry on...

A bit confusing. Your title says "Camacho" but your post references "Davidoff."

Which one is it? Think

I guess I should have explained it better.
These are "davidoff" Camachos.........recall that Davidoff bought Camacho around 2008 I believe.
I didn't want people to think that I was talking about the Eiroa owned Camachos, that many of us scored at that other place a while back.

I still have a couple of the Davioff/Camacho corojos in red tubos when they first came out......red is really faded now on the tubes (not sure how that happened in storage). Sounds like it is time.

Curious......which do you like better?

Think

The Davidoff is a bit more "complex".......but when I want that really smooth, well aged, quality corojo flavor, the Eiora Camachos are my go-to.
so......guess I like them equally???
