If you wont smoke them send them to someone who will - The Troops! OpFTH.

Do a quick search for the address. Send a little Holiday cheer to those who are away from home and family defending us during this season. If you are really feeling it this season, include the $15 postage for a large box to go overseas.

Merry Christmas.

No question.

Besides, what're the odds that anyone is going to pay you the $3-4 shipping to have you mail eighty cents worth of cigars?

If I recall the story correctly, Mr Scrooge turns his act around at Christmas time and does the right thing.
But I guess Merry Christmas Ebeneezer then would be more appropriate.

You are the one insinuating you are being a Grinch. I wrote nothing of the kind.

I insinuated nothing. Again, thanks for assuming the worst in people. I'm glad you're on this forum so that everyone can light up with content every time you state how stingy they are for not doing what you do.

And just so you know, I am also a service member and I contribute to the half of my unit who's deployed.

Thanks again.

Thank you for your service, Sir. Having been deployed you can certainly understand why the FOGS on this board support OpFTH and what they do to help our service men and women. We all do what we can, when we can. It is not a knock, but the cost of shipping 2 cigars is rarely worth the postage unless the cigar has a special value. Save the cigars and wait for the CAT Fundraiser for OpFTH in late June, ending on the 4th of July. Most here contribute prizes and donations for the cause. It can be a lot of fun should you choose to participate.

FYI you can fit a Small Flat Rate USPS box inside a large manilla envelope and use a priority sticker and it will cost around $4 (with just cigars in it)

Thanks, but these are going to another forum member who will be sending a care package to a deployed unit out of Ft Hood.

Maybe another trade.

Of course I will participate. I have personal friends who are currently deployed. I also have other friends who are deploying in January, to include the pilots in my unit. I will gladly contribute.
