Banter: DL from Prescott, AZ was killing me on a different box of the La Aurora Preferidos. Luckily I got the best of him on this one.

Yeah, he's been told that....told him to buy 2, one for his dead crickets that he enjoys to keep and the other for cigars, since he would have had "extra room" after buying 2 for the crickets and only needing one.

Next is when you talk the wife into a new dresser...tell her you got an awesome deal on a spanish armoire.... and when the tower comes...say must been some mistake in the description..spanish ceder...armoire like....

From what I've seen the bid prices haven't been too good lately- good for CBID, but not for smokers. I didn't bid up any of those in the OP.

Ever since MAP reared its ugly head, I've drastically cut back on bidding. Luckily I was able to stock up on my favorite Fuentes and Padrons before it hit every site.

Concur with most of the above. Not much avail here that I smoke, other than fishing/yard gars. And if I were to bid on anything, why would I announce it and ask for 'competition'?

Read more. Post less. Bid high. Smoke better. BTW, Hank, are you retrohaling yet?

Oh..................I get it now.
After I have scored one of my favorites, you want me to post and banter about it.
d'oh!

Someone please send Hank the DP Newell Handbook of Online Cigar Buying.
I don't have any copies left.

RIP DP....

RIP, DPNewell...the auction King who won nearly all of his cigars for $1 or $2, at most, $3.

Last blast, on his way out, he alerted us to the La Perla Habana Morados, purple cloth bands, that were sitting for 7 or 8 years. Very good, especially for the price, compared to those sold today.

My vet Harley sent me a care package that included a "few". Gone but, never forgotten.
