You got outbid.

You didn't bid high enough, so you showed weakness.

Never show weakness.

Assuming it was the same item and you lost 2 of the 3 - then 2 people bid a higher amount than you. So you lost 2 but there wasn't a higher bid for the 3rd one.

Welcome aboard... as you can see, we're an odd bunch.

You bid on 3 lots. If you won one of them and lost the other 2, 2 people outbid you but they each bid on 1 lot... so you got the 3rd at your max bid.

The Prozac factory shut its doors and moved to Mexico. Then someone hacked the recipe and added mescal soaked worm powder to the mix.

Thanks for the advice ZRX 1200. Now i know now and understand. Also i like to thank JUST RELAX. And to those others that didnt answer my question and critiqued my name and lack of knowledge of the biidding game. I apologize for asking a question. The only dumb questions are the ones you dont ask. Thank again POTTERPEA.

No problem. Lots of good advice on here stick around a roll with the punches. A good ribbing is always part of the process when asking a question especially new without an introduction so suck it up buttercup. whip

Some of my bids prevailed also, but I got outbid on the others ... I remember once when ALL of my bids were successful, though ... that was an ugly day since I'd counted on losing some of them ... MrsS struggled to lift the box off the porch when it arrived and went on a big-time tirade about how I didn't NEED that many cigars ... which is probably true irrespective of the number I bid on, but that's another story ... anyhow, the experience DID cause me to utilize a bit more cautious bidding strategy ...

That happened to me too...then DPNewell said I was doing it all wrong. You have to bid only $1-3 dollars, or some really low amount, on cigars you want...RIP DP...

By the time I got here, the textbook for the DP Newell School of Bidding was already in it's 5th edition. I was lucky enough to snag a used copy and in it was the chapter on best dates, times and max amounts to bid dependent on the phases of the moon. I've steadfastly stuck to those tenets of wisdom.

And yes, RIP Professor DPN.

Yeah............I was lucky enough to attend one of his last seminars. He makes Tony Robbins look like a puzzie. DP was walking back and forth across the stage, hammering home the techniques of bubble bidding, where, when and how to score the best close outs, etc.
RIP DP...

I've gotten quite a few enormous, heavy boxes from cigarbid. I had to pick them up off the porch myself, but then noticed no tirade at all coming from the empty volume of air where, had I married, my wife would've been standing.
