Getting close to the end of my supply of "got-them-when-first-came-out" CAO Pilons. They have been a great smoke well worth the 90+ ratings that they have gotten from several publications. Considering reloading on them....

BUT....

CAO is known for coming out with a great release only to see subsequent shipments of the same stick go downhill. Whether they downgrade the blend after getting great reviews or they just start pushing out too many of them to keep up good quality control, who knows, but the track-record is there.

So, has anyone smoked any recently made/shipped CAO Pilons? If so, how are they holding up? I can still get older ones from a couple of B&M's nearby, but dang that retail hurts to pay!

I alluded to this very predicament yesterday on the What ya Smokin thread. Very interested in any responses. The OR is smoking really well right now.

Didn't see your post in the other thread but you are right. Dang these are good, just nervous about what they are like now.
