Today was one of those days. Cut some grass while 2 racks of St. Louie ribs cooked on the smoker over pecan wood. Just finished eating. Now I'm sitting outside by the 🔥 enjoying an HU Sir Winston from down south. What a great day it's been.

I managed to find a wheel barrow full from the 2 cords that floated off in the flood. Managed to split all that without chopping any fingers off.

Sounds like a nice evening, but shouldn't you have a little bourbon also?

Bourbon would have been nice, but I opted for a *few* Angry Orchards instead.

I did a whole lot of nothing... yesterday... today... and looks like tomorrow, too.

Sometimes a brother just needs a few days to sit in a chair, drink beer, and listen to music.

I'd much rather have gone fishing, but the weather's rough... and the charter boats ain't bravin' it, so I ain't takin' the tiny ship out. I'ze ugly, I ain't stoopit.

Homie... flown in doesn't mean fresh. An awesome place for seafood is Narragansett, RI. Sure, I'm biased... but fresh everything. Clams, Mussels, scallops, fish, lobster, crab... I mean, right off the boat.

I do not miss the cold... or the faahkin reetaahds. But I do miss the food.

Aunt Carrie's has the best clam cakes and chowdah. Great views of the ocean, too.

George's is awesome, too. They have a full menu, whereas Aunt Carrie's really specializes in clam cakes and chowdah.

Narragansett is a fishing town. Period. Wickford is, too... I grew up in North Kingstown. Wickford is in the middle of North Kingstown... I'd fish for flounder off the Wickford bridge. There was a bait shop right there where I'd buy my clam worms and flounder hooks.
