WAR DAYUM EAGLE!
Auburn 84, yes I know Bo
Funny you should ask. I stopped in at Riverside Alabama, down off 20, in the Coosa river. Boss Brothers BBq, is where it's at. You can hit them up via boat or auto. They have a dock.
Mainly cause I was in a rental, and I figured a slab of smoked ribs riding with me for a couple hours would be a good smoke screen for my cigar. Which worked, perfectly.
I'm sure after a while the stoogie farts shined through once the bbq left with me.
Another good way, my buddy showed me. When you pickup the rental. Complain that it smells like smoke. They will ask to put you in another car. Refuse and tell them to make note. I don't want to be charged for this.
Smoking in rentals.... Yeah, I'm that guy.
On another note it has been a busy weekend but I did have a chance to try a few good pipe tobaccos
-Peter Stokkebyes Bullseye flake. (I though luxury twist was better)
-Bobs Chocolate Flake. (Bought more for the name, to compare to my super value chocolate, the Latakia adds a nice touch. More of a shredded flake)
-Lane Q-1, (this was recommended for noob pipers. Not bad. But I thought, the next one was better).
-Mac Barren Vanilla Cream, (this was a vanilla on another level). Room note matches the taste. Very sweet and burned hot and wet. Needs drying. Better than Q-1
-CAO Moontrane. Meh...
-CAO Eileen's Dream. Alittle better... But meh...
-CAO Black. (What can I say, I got sucked into the CAO vortex sampler). Best by far. I dig the blackberry twist.
And the ones on my wish list
-Sutliff Molto Dulce
-Solani Aged Burley Flake
-Mac Baren HH Old Dark Fired
-Cornell and Diehl Bijou
-Seattle Pipe Club. Plum Pudding special reserve
-A&C Peterson Escudo Navy Deluxe.
And more PS luxury twist flake.
If y'all know of any better blends, let me know.
