Finally tried the first of them. Smoked the Craven Morehead last night. Thank you very much.
It started off very strong...it settled quickly but not into a very good place. I found it reminding me of the Ramon Bueso Genesis when they were first released and very fresh (haven't had a fresh one in years, and they may be the same today...idk)
It was somewhat chewy, somewhat rich, but very raw....almost harsh. I suspect that it might benefit from a lot of downtime, but I'm not sure it will get to 'decent'. It didn't totally suck, but never got good.
However, I do very much appreciate your generosity and the opportunity to try new cigars. Thanks, again.
