I knew someday we would agree on something. Have you tried the golden ones- they don't taste like dirt, actually they don't have much taste at all.

I hear tailgator gives his red beets several golden showers before cooking- or was it eating ?

Overproduction of sugar beets may contribute to global warming.

Damn, thought you were holding your own in here, didn't realize you needed help.

I'll help!

Climate Change Bad!

Climate Stay Same Good!!!

Unfortunately, that's not the way the sh17 works, the climate changes, that's just the way it is, that's the way it always will be.

Until we get wiped out of course, but I would bet that climate change isn't the culprit that kills us off...

Unfortunately I couldn't ever collect on that bet, but you know what I'm saying!

There, helped MACs out a little :D

Climate change is bull. Vaclav Smil wrote about how any attempt we make to change the climate has been offset by natural disasters and emerging third world economies. It's all a wash and quite frankly it's dishonest marketing made to break the backs of the consumer by overloading them with high energy costs. Why do you think they backed out of supporting it all of a sudden now that Trump is in office? It doesn't make sense; it robs Europeans and Americans of jobs while benefitting the Chinese who have no regulations.

That wasn't a distress call, bgz... I was merely making an observation.

When it was rickamaven and one or two others, it was more light hearted. Now it's just tedious.

So when I pizz on a beet it becomes a golden beet?
And that makes tonygraz like them?
And he thinks it's hot?
And that is what causes climate change?
Or is he confusing it with climax change?

Poor Macs whines that he finds the arguments with liberals tedious these days... the reason being they aren't as outnumbered as they used to be on this site.

And tail blames the pussification of america.

I want you to look at those two posts carefully.

One is whining that he's bored... not doing something about it... just whining that he's bored. And the reason being (in his mind) that the opponents he argues with aren't as outnumbered as they used to be.

The next post claims it's the purification of America.

...

...

... I'm gonna say tail is right. But not for the reasons he thinks.

I've been on this here Earth for 47+ years. I've traveled the world quite a bit, and visited 15 or so different countries.

In all that time... I have never met a more smarmy mr know-it-all than victor. That's quite an accomplishment. I'm not quite sure if congrats are in order, though.

I have a few of theories about the numbers tilting to the left here. I wasn't around when GWB was in office, so observations from then may prove or disprove this:

1st theory: When the Man in the White House is someone you support, you are basically satisfied and the other side doesn't matter so much, so you aren't as motivated to come into this forum to rant, debate, argue, josh and trade opinions (my experience). When you don't support the Man in the White House, you need a place to blow off the steam.

2nd theory: Trump is such a poor President, even those on the right can't get up the energy to support him. Tougher to play defense constantly...

3rd theory: Those on the left have stated such flawless points, there are no reasonable responses...

4th theory: Many people on the right have abandoned ship, and those remaining are having a hard time carrying the load...

5th theory: There are fewer guys like RICKAMAVEN, with whom I spoke, who enjoyed stirring the pot, and were willing to make outrageous statements they really didn't believe, just to make things lively around here

You're the only one I argue with, so that can't be it...

My comment was more of a smartass reply to the leftist comments from delta, tony, teedub, and then frank, bing, bang, boom... one after the other. But hey, you do what you do here, so I guess I should have been expecting such.

Notice the comment that follows... joking with Tony... then my response to bgz coming to 'save' me. I have even attempted joviality with you at times, but you always have to be right, and have the last word.

Would too... I'd even get him some crackers and water if he starts barfing on our fishing trip.

I'm still gonna laugh at him, but I'll get the crackers...
