Does anyone know what specific problem is cigarbid.com having?
I won 12 lots from 03/01 to 03/06. My shipping frequency is weekly on Wednesday. There is no Order Confirmation for these lots. My Bids Won showed these 12 items last week but today it shows only one item.
Have they been hacked?
Is our information safe?

... I doubt your information is safe...

I suspect that you'll get lots of Nigerian emails at mybizrate....

Are the barristers still sending the emails or did they move to princes yet?

you are among the longest tenured members here, yet have barely posted in 17 years.

You didn't write, you didn't call...we were worried sick!
Your mother and I had no idea where you were.
I want you to go to your room and think about that for a while, young man.

alfgomez! I humbly apologize...I had no idea you were the original "Cello on/Cello off" thread starter.

It has become classic Cbid forum shtick.
You have no idea how many times that has been brought up here since you first asked in December 2000...

If I may quote you:

What is better: strip the cello from cigars when you put them in the humidor or not?

I've been waiting for an order for 6 - 8 weeks also. I have contacted the company on several ocassions and given an answer that they had changed something with their "system" which has caused a delay in filling orders. I would like to continue to do business with them, but this is making it difficult.

Umm yeah, the CEO (Lars Teetens) and I were discussing this very thing over lunch yesterday. He assured me they were working hard to fix things and it should be all good very soon.

Well after bashing the **** out of Cbid over the weekend and no suspension to deal with, I would say that yes indeed both customer service employees are hard at work instead of watching the boards here.

Once your payment has earned enough interest to buy the cigars you won they will be shipped immediately I can assure you of that.

well you're an idiot... you can just take pics of that stuff and send it as an attachment... you live in the dark ages, manually entering numbers...

I got my new order today. They even made a small gesture I'm guessing to make amends for the delay.

That's what I get for laughing at this whole thing instead of joining the bitch-fest.

A bit of a retraction; Thought they had knocked $10 off my bill for the delay and everything but it turns out a thing I had won (and not the crux of my order) didn't ship with the order so I wasn't billed the $10 for it.

Would seem that I was on a need to know basis of what didn't ship with the order and evidently I didn't need to know. All good otherwise, but going to wait a bit on the house to get sorted before going back in.

Yes, I do believe they are having issues...perhaps one is cash flow. I had a 16.00 credit on my account and called two weeks ago asking for a cheque to be cut. Have I heard from them...NO.
Try calling them which is what I am doing as I write...it has now been 48 minutes on hold.
Oh, should I mention e-mails which they do not answer as well.

These are the first steps of a company in trouble.

Poor customer service. Arrogance.
Hour waits on the phone to speak to someone.
Poor shipping policies.
Not returning e-mails.
No refunds as promised.
General not caring about their customers.

My mother told me growing up....Water eventually seeks its own level....and it looks like they have.

Too bad, but that's why we have social media to alert others.

You have to send a private message to teedubya.

Make sure and send him your order #, cc # with exp date and security code.

Also, he'll expedite your issue if you send him a dk pick.

You're misinformed.

Social media is a place where you can post pictures and share them with your friends and follow other useless people like yourself like the stalker that you are.

This is not that place, we can't even post pictures here, and even when we could, we posted pictures of other people (usually chicks) with fish lips and nice tits (not of our selves).

So you could not stalk anyone here.

So you see, this is just some random message forum and is NOT, I REPEAT, NOT a social media site.

Last but not least, we have no interest in being social with you because we know your a creepy, people stalking freak.

So now you know, and knowing is half the battle.

Oh my, I was warned that there are people like you spicing up normal forums but now I see that it is true. This was merely an FYI on a company that was on top of their game but is no longer. I didn't expect to tangle with someone of your caliber. As I mentioned in my first post, water always seeks its own level and that seems to be true in this case.
This is what is wrong with America...comment as you will but I do not plan to respond in kind to your kind. I am 70 years of age, retired debt free at 55 to rescue homeless and abused animals and make no apologies for who I am or what I do. My dad told me when I was young what I will suggest to you...Get a haircut and get a real job.

You sound like a very nice gentlemen unlike some of the other fresh meat we see around here.

Gummy is right though, you cannot save Hank... he is a lost and damaged animal, even if we get him back, there is still no hope for him.

Oh, I just got a haircut last week and it's a bit late for me to find a real job.

And thanks for setting me straight about how you will not respond in kind to my kind, I prefer a more blunt approach where you appear to prefer a more pompous and condescending style.

With that said, again, I am a very blunt individual like I said, so GTFO and go save a squirrel or something you creepy animal stalking freak :)

Lastly, you shared some fatherly advise with me, I'll share some fatherly advice with you as well.

When in a bar, start with the hottest one and work your way down, usually you'll land somewhere in the middle
