Just heard the news that Chuck passed away earlier today.

We also lost another legend two days ago, James Cotton.

I'm grilling and paying tribute tonight.
Just thought I'd pass the word.
Two greats that will be sorely missed.

Peace

Saw Chuck in the early '70s when he opened for Lee Michaels...should have been the other way around. Chuck simply blew him away.

Could have seen Cotton in '77 when I saw Muddy Waters.

RIP to two great musicians.

So long Chuck.. and thanks for the music and memories.

When I get off work tonight at midnight and stop in at the Vets Hall with my Blanco CO 2nd Third robusto, Hoyo de Monterrey Excalibur, and H. Upmann Regalias...

... I'll be creating a Chuck Berry channel on my Pandora Radio.

RIP......The legends are dropping like flies. Which classic rockers from 1956-1959 are still alive?
