Nine carpenters bees dead. 291 to go. The bottom of my neighbors shed is infested with them. Now they're starting to drill holes and make nests in my eave. Ain't gonna have it. I stapled a 1/4 wire screen along the entire bottom of her shed in mid March so the females and youngins can't get out, and the males can't get in. I spray them with foam carpenter bee killer when they rear their ugly faces. So far so good. Like fishing with dynamite. They'll be real active later this week. I'm ready for these bastards!!!

5 hours to go and my work week is finally over.

Going straight from vacation to work made this stretch extra tiresome.

Gonna try to be productive and get some projects finished this week.

Get the extended deck, gummy...never get the poop deck...and don't hire carpenter bees to build it: they offer a honey of a deal, but will always sting you in the end...

It hit 85 here yesterday and today it's expected to hit a high of 60. Hope to get the snow peas planted planted by the weekend.

Busy day.

Got septic pumped, Dr appointment, split and relocated raspberries and some hostas, replaced mulch all around the house, mowed the lawn and cleaned chicken coop. Refilled softener salt too.

Bought 8 more live chicks, so now the basement stinks.

Smoked chicken tacos for dinner. Yuengling finally in Indiana, had a few more than I should have and fell asleep on the couch after dinner.

If the weather holds up, gonna pick up a few truckloads of dirt tomorrow. Gotta get some fresh dirt for the garden, and start building up a level surface along the side of the garage to make a parking space for camper so I don't have to give up driveway space when I bring it home.

If I were really old time, I'd be using a sextant and the stars. Map and compass is high tech for me.

What the hell is a Garmin?

I also see the sarcasm smiley thingy didn't post... and I tried to edit too.
