Alas.
My B-loved Bruins made it to the dance, but I'm not feeling it yet.

Tonight's game might set the tone.

Go B's!

Kings didn't make it, and are now re-building after firing Daryl Sutter and GM Lombardi, coach and architect of their two championships...

Stanley Cup playoffs are the best post season action of all major sports.

Bruins - Senators game 1st period is not what I was expecting at all. Way faster than anticipated.

And, with the exception of the NBA, it's the longest post-season action ... baseball will almost have reached the all-star break by the time the champs hoist Lord Stanleys Cup ...

This was a terrible move. How do they fire these guys after two recent Stanley Cups? I am sure they wont be out of work for long.

One if the things I miss most about moving from Nashville to Texas is that I no longer get to go to Predators games. No real hockey in Austin......sux.

That 3rd period was stellar.
Didn't look like the first game of a 7 game series in the first round. Felt like OT in the finals.
Phenomenal!

Have you heard the cut from Guy Boucher's press conference a few days ago regarding Chara? Too funny yet creepy at the same time.

Pffft... hockey in Tennessee is about as ridiculous as hockey in Florida or California.

Blackhawks in 6.

Or not. WTF!? The wheels fell off the Hawks wagon 6 games ago. Done now.

Well, that may be the case this year, but last year there was nothing ridiculous about the San Jose Sharks who, as you may recall, did right well for themselves until the finals where they played well, but not quite well enough ...

Nope. I'm resigned to the fact that they gave up a few games even before the playoffs. They're now done.

Predators till suck donkey balls though.

1. The refs suck.
2. What happened to the Blackhawks?
3. Double OT victory for the B's. Despite:
-refs taking away one OT goal with bogus goalie interference call.
-refs refusing to recognize Ottawa NON-goalie covering up puck in crease. Which should have been automatic penalty shot.
-new kid in first NHL game scoring game tying and double OT winner.

It was a good season, and Ottawa is a stronger team, so we're not overly upset at losing to them.

It was just terribly inconsistent enforcement of the rules and it felt like some games were taken away from us.

And I knew Erik Karlsson was good, but he was even better than advertised.

Same for the past seasons in Florida too.

You can tell someone NEVER has been at the Amalie Arena to see a SOLDOUT game...night after night to support the Lightning, but I digress...

Brad Marchand wasted no time in securing some extra work, in the off season.

Pens squeak one out against the Caps. Pretty damned good game. I think the winner of this series.....wins it all.
