smacked me with big time quality!

Paul and I discussed his Nic trip and then...BOOOM!

at least he showed some (requested) restraint:

Mombacho tierra volcano, a short beauty (rothschild?) with sweet looking milk chocolate wrapper.

Mombacho liga maestro, great looking corona, just a shade or two darker wrapper.

Fino, slightly slimmer corona, wrapper is one more tick darker.

The wrappers are perfect, as is the construction. It's likely I never would have seen one, never mind own three...and currently among my favored vitolas.

but as excited as I am to smoke them, I am equally stoked to try the home made jars of Black Raspberry Jam (vintage 6/16) and Georgia Peach Jam (7/16). I remember reading Paul's thread about these and hoping I'd ever get a shot at one, never mind two.

Paul, tremendous quality, very generous, extremely thoughtful...I'm running out of superlatives! Please believe that I am really touched by this gift.

Thank you, friend.

Frank
