It's time to stop the leaks.

I don't like president Trump, or what he is doing. But the leaks need to stop, this is hurting our country, and certainly illegal. I am not voicing this well.

It's not a mutually exclusive thing like both sides will have you think.

Yes the leaks need to stop and whomever did it needs to be prosecuted. Period. Trump didn't feel that way previously when it benefited him but now he does. He is now correct.

The subject of the leaks can not be ignored just because they were leaked. Trump was right when he said as much when it benefits him, he is wrong now.

But you are right, the leaking must stop all around, including from Trump and crew.

There is a fine balance here: we want our government to be as open, honest and transparent as possible; on the other hand, the world is a dangerous place and we need secretive processes to keep us safe. When the secret keepers discover that our government is doing bad things...

Bad government rates higher on the hierarchy of importance than most leaks...but if leakers are caught, regardless of the nature and outcome of the info leaked, consequences should follow... that's why Deep Throat stayed hidden for a long time after Watergate...

Leaking secrets to the enemy is really bad, near the top of the hierarchy...helping the enemy mess with an election is pretty close...

Absolutely right Drafter. I think stopping the classified leaks is a much higher priority.
