There are several examples out there. It's not hard to find.

Like the size of his inauguration crowd? Bill lied under oath about f*cking one of his employees at work and was almost put back in the white house as first lady, so I'm pretty sure the American public and the media aren't concerned about honesty in their politicians... or maybe just not in their Republican ones...

That wasn't one of the examples I was thinking of (or really care about) but what the hey..... Comey is a habitual liarbut Trump is not LOL Bill is a scum bag that got impeached for being a liar and wasn't running for office this time. His wife lost.

I read several.. calling them lies is almost a lie in itself... getting a few numbers wrong or looking back at his business practices do not constitute a lie... witch hunt comes to mind.... Not talking

To be honest Drafter if you don't find trump to be a habitual lier but you do find comey to be one there isn't much one could do to convince you. And Slick williy is also one.

man, I wasn't flat out calling Comey a habitual liar.. I just expressed a thought of maybe he was... there's no guarantee he was telling the truth.. Do I have to snopes all my thoughts too..?? Huh

I certainly didn't say trump isn't a liar... not sure why you would say that, but if you believe it, ok...

My point was that America doesn't care that the president is a liar... that's why bill almost got back to the white house... curious, if Putin quits and his wife becomes president, you'll be totally willing to consider it a completely different presidency right? I mean, it's not like putin would be running again... his wife would be...

We are not Russia. Bill wasn't running. I have no love or defense for Bill. Hillary lost probably partly due to clinton fatigue and Bills past combined with her own and a **** campaign. Her lies and obfuscation caught up to her and allowed another habitual liar (Trump) to even be viable.

My original comment was amusement that Drafter would consider Comey possibly a habitual liar but completely discount that thought for Trump. That's all.

I wasn't completely discounting Trumps lies.. I've been asking for days for someone to present one and nobody had... When I go look for myself I see misquotes or stuff that really doesn't matter a bit that are being called lies..
the comment about Comey was hypothetical... it might turn out to be true or it may not.. but I think we'll discover soon he was responsible for a whole lot more leaking... but that just makes him a criminal and not a liar I guess... Mellow

There are plenty out there Drafter. I'm not going to point any out though. It's more fun this way.

I don't think you're going to find too many lies. He's too polished to get caught in lies. If you sit and parse his words carefully, he rarely says anything verifiable or unambiguous. I don't have the quotes, but I think he was clearly lying when he said (or suggested?) that the (only?) reason he wouldn't release his tax returns was because he was undergoing an audit. And, again, I don't recall the exact, no doubt ambiguous phrasing, but I understood him or his lackeys to say that sometime in the future, he WOULD release those returns. Probably won't turn out to have been a 'technical' lie, but I'll interpret it that way.

He's had several flat out lies and he isn't all that polished. He'd be best served not going under oath.

Oh, I forgot... it's more fun for you to call him a liar and not cite examples. RollEyes

Never mind.

Plenty of outrageous claims, that can't be proven, for sure... Has to be a few flat-out, intentional lies in there, too, right?
